my headache.....

I got a bit of a headache, and an upset tummy. I had a New York Strip yesterday and I think thats what did it. I still got my triaining in.

SO right now I am sitting here watching Eddie Murphys Delirious. It is soooooo funny. I can't stop laughing. I love Eddie Murphy. I loved him in the old Saturday Night Live as Mr. Rogers, Gumby, Buckwheat, etc. He has real talent. I also am a huge Robin Williams Fan. I just saw Man of the Year and thought it was prety funny. I love politics. It gets pretty interesting.

Recently I did a photshoot with Gene from Gene X magazine. It was a great shoot. I can't wait to see the photos.

I am going to a wrestling match Saturday night. Looking forward to that. My friend the Masked Manic who is a pro wrestler is performaning. I think there is a Strongman show Saturday too in Clearwater. So I am going to try and see that too.

I want to say good luck to Pro bodybuilder Angela Debatin who is competing at the Scaramento Pro. Good Luck Angela, now hurry back so we can go and have Italian before I diet...LOL

Its almost Arnold Classic time............................Yeah.

Frank Zane


Here is a picture of Randy and 3 time Mr. Olympia Frank Zane.
I have always been a HUGE fan of Frank Zane. What an excellent physique. He looks fantastic at 65 years old. Randy got a sneak peak at Mr. Zanes legs and Randy said he was sliced and diced.
Frank Zane will be at the Arnold Classic, be sure to stop by and say Hi. He also has a brand new training manual out too.

One of the greatest shows/expos is the Arnold Classic. Can't wait to go and cheer for everyone competing.

I think the only thing that really disappionted me this week was when I went to train and the front dest girl was extremly rude and snappy to me. I can't express how much it aggravates me becuase I am constantly in there. I think everyone knows that a bodybuilder is a gym addict and I have to get my fix. ;) WHen you have to deal with people like that its ridiculous.

I will be in Miami next week, dropping down to visit and train. It should be fun, maybe I will see some of you in the gym ;)

I wish I was at the Daytona 500. I love Nascar.

the good old days

I wanted to share a letter I sent Muscle and Fitness in 2001. It got published in may 2001.

Lited Her Up
I'm 21 years old, 5'3" and weight about 140 pounds. Your magazine has given me a lot of encouragement. It helped lift my spirits during my personal struggle with self esteem and then as I tried to perfect my body as a raging muscle machine. You guys have lifted me up when I needed support with my bodyuilding and have shed light on me when I was in the darkness with training routines. Thanks for being there when I need you.

Its amzing how much has changed since then. I am proud to say that I am 179 lbs this afternoon. I can't believe how much gains I have made. My strength is back up. Finally, the cold really got me last week. Everyone keeps asking me what weight class I will be. At this rate, I don't honestly know.

My friend is leaving to see 3 time Mr. Olympia Frank Zane tomorrow. How cool is that. I have always been a fan of his physique, and posing.

people in the gym

Good Morning,

It is still a bit cold here in Orlando. I actually love the cold weather. My family lives in Brookyln, New York. So I got used to it visting them and then I actually moved up there for a while for a hot job that turned sour. (long story). Lets just say my boss didn't like that I was bigger than him LOL.

I can proudly say that I am 98 % better. I still have nasal congestion, but it isn't too bad. I actually trained again Monday. I trained back, and I really didn't want to train hardcore so I went softcore and did a 405 deadlift. it killed me doing this becuase deep down inside I was itching to slap some more 45's on there and get Hardcore but I didn't train for 2 days and I was sick as a dog. So next time ....its on baby. I am on a misson. I am going to try to attempt to go over the 600 mark. I will be safe of course. I always suggest anyone who does these to wear a good weightbelt, it will save your back.

The other day I was a bit surprised about something. I noticed that certain people in the gym that I now train at act like they are better than everyone else. Okay, now I am zoned in the gym when I train I understand that but these people used to be my friends, and I haven't seen them in a few years. You would think that we would click better now that we compete on the same level but we don't. It really amazes me cause we always would joke, talk , and all that good stuff. When I had ran into them it was just staring at me and looking at me with knives in thier eyes. I say hi, and its a cold shoulder. It really amazes me and yet opens my eyes to see what these people are really about. I promise you guys this. If you see me, don't worry I don't bite. I love meeting people and having a few laughs. If I am training, I will say hi, and catch up with you later. I don't like to get cold when i train. I like to keep the muscles warm. I got to get that pump feeling you know, makes me look bigger. LOL

I just saw on the news that some marathon runners ran 86 floors on the Empire State building. Now that is real cardio. I need to do that. LOL

Bodybuilding is what I love, and I hope someday to be on the pro circut. I think I would make a great pro. You would see my face alot on the circut. In the meantime I just have to train hard, and pray that one day God blesses me with that opportunity.

Okay I will write more later, my next meal is starring me in the face, and again I am in the packing on muscle phase so in order to grow I have to eat. today I was 177. Lots of great gains.

Making it through the weekend

I wanted to send my condolences to the familes who have suffered from the tornados that hit Central Florida a day ago. It was unexpected as it hit the area early in the morning around 3-4:00am. At least 20 people have been killed by the tornados. I had a few people ask me if I hda experienced any damage, and I am lucky to say no. We experienced alot of heavy rain. Right now the weather is cold and a bit gloomy :(






As for myself right now I am battling a flu bug. I don't like colds. I get aches and pains and i just want to sleep. I am always on the go. But now I am just lounging around the house and watching some netflix rentals like Grandmas House, Scarface, and Somethings Gotta Give.
I hope that this bug passes fast so I can go and train again. I miss the gym so much already. LOL



I have been drinking lots of soups, and fluids. From time to time I try to eat some real food from my diet but its hard to swallow right now. I think what works best is if I make a puree out of it and eat it like baby food.



In the prior blog my weight is 175 lbs. My goal is to put on some more muscle. People ask me since I weigh this much now I probably won't be a light heavy weight. Well My response to that is anything is possible. I always like to leave all doors open for opportunities.

Superbowl is almost here too. I wish I can go and watch. ;)


The Arnold Classic is almost here. I went ahead and did VIP. I will be there to meet fans, friends and of course get up, close and personal with the Pros.
