My Carnival Legend Cruise...Lots of fun Pictures

My Carnival Legend Vacation

Yep I am smoking a Cuban cigar :)

Me and David had a blast and it was a great way to end my offseason LOL. This was my first cruise and Davids 10th. We went on a Carnival 7 day Western Carribean cruise on the Funship Legend. For my first cruise I was very impressed.

We fly out of the new Indianapolis Airport on Saturday November 29th and did a precruise. We stayed at the Hilton. I loved the hotel it was located by a lot of my favorite restaurants including Cheesecake Factory. I had to stop there and grab me some avacado eggrolls. I just love the tamarind dipping suace. We arrive back at the hotel and crashed. It was a long day and I wanted to get up early and grab a taxi to the port. I was determined to be one of the first ones on the ship. We arrived at the port a little after 10 am. I think we must have skipped the line as we were the first ones in after the V.I.P. Wedding party...OPPs I did it again. :) I don't really think people knew were to stand anyway. I did get yelled at for taking pictures outside so I did get one photo in for you guys.
After we got inside it was smooth sailing but I still wasn't first to board the ship yet. I did have a couple of people take some shots of me pretending like they were looking at thier phone or camera. It was pretty comical. We were sitting around waiting and this lady was one of the carnival staff. She keep everyone on thier feet. She was very blunt and straight to the piont. She was a tank, but had a heart of gold. We then saw her walk over to us and I thought I wazs in for it as I was standing and she wanted us sitting down. She asked me for my passport and my sign in sail card. She laughed at me cause I was a Carnival Virgin sailor. She took Davids sign and sail card instead to show everyone what to do when its time to get your picture taken. She walks back to us and was so happy that we helped her that she took us into the V.I.P. area. Now that was cool. David was happy and so was I. Maybe it was meant to be. The thing was I was determined to get us a table for 2 for our dinner reservations. I have heard horror stories about people you had to sit with at dinner. I wanted to avoid that and plus I wanted a bit of privacy. *wink

Here is a picture of the part of the dinning room "truffles". I did get my table for two by the way and you will see our table later on. I wanted to post some pictures of the Tampa Port and what I saw .....

the internet cafe and libary

adults only!! this is the topless deck area

A towel Monkey :)

I was staying in a Balcony suite and these are the extended balconies which we decided not to stay in this time.

Here is a picture of me and my mustard drill. I didn't realize I had my life jacket on wrong lol. It was a fun drill and went smoothly.

Now I want to post some pictures of my cruise for you as its long overdue. We did not go to Grand Cayman as the weather was not allowing us. This is a common thing with Grand Cayman, but its worth taking the risk. In exchange Carnival refunded everyones money back for the excursions and the taxs charged for Grand Cayman. The entire crew was very sorry about the misfortune we encoutnered with Grand Cayman. The Captain tried his hardest with getting us the okay to go to Grand Cayman but it wasn't going to happen. I really do apperciate the Captain trying anyway. We all made the best of it and it was another fun day at sea.

Check out these desserts...yummy

Here are some pictures from Cozemel, Mexico. It was a blast! I went around the shops and sampled a lot of tequila and picked up a couple of authentic cuban cigars. I really liked it here and could come back again and again. The people were very friendly and I just love Mexico

Does this picture make me look small :)

Royal Carribean Navigator. Check out the size of the boat LOL

Here is a towel animal I saw after dinner. How cute!!!

Carnival had the physical comedy of Max Winfrey. We were very curious and we love comedy anyway so we went to go watch. I made sure we sat in the front row and I was going to try to see if I could get David pulled on stage. Max called a called of kids and then afterwards a lady and then called for another adult. Sure enough I got Max's attention and got David called. He wasn't too thrilled about it and seemed a little shy. LOL. It was funny. I was proud of David as he can juggle handkerchiefs pretty well. LoL. Then Max told David to put a ciggerette in his mouth and hold ot there as Max was going to knock it out with one of the bowling pins. I never seen anyone so nervous. haha. David did a great job. So now Max asks for another adult to volenteer. So David grabs my hand and makes me go up for the final act. LOL. I was so embarassed. My job was to throw the bowling pins to Max while he was on the unicycle. I was scare that I might miss. Well I threw them to him and he throws them back and I caught 2 at the same time. LOL. here are some picstures that David wasn't suppose to take but did anyway.

Belize

Roaton. Honduras

I did get to see the beaches on the Island but walked around as I wanted to find another Cuban Cigar with some more punch to it. I did find some at the Habana which had tons of Cubans. I got the strongest I could find for me and David *wink. We didn't stay too long on the island. It was very humid and I wanted to get back and relax a bit.

Me at Dinner
Here I am attempting to eat escargot "snails for the first time :)

sitting at the airport

I'm here with David sitting at the new Indianapolis Airport waiting to get on my plane to Tampa. I will be going on a 7 day cruise tomorrow on Carnival. It is a very long awaited vacation. Dieting almost all year round and working has definitly taken a toll on me. I'm excited about it as its my first cruise.

Oh David bought a SRT 8 Dodge Charger yesterday. I have a Dodge Charger too but its not as fast as his. We both love the Chargers. I am so happy for him as he deserves something really nice and then some. He's been through a lot and he always goes out of his way for people. It was about time he treated himself to something as sweet as this.

I got a chance to drive it that baby is sweet

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving. I will be spending Thanksgiving with David and his family. I am excited about it as my family hasn't had a traditional thanksgiving in years. A lot of ,y family is scattered in New York and in Florida, so its hard for all of them to come together.

I got up early this morning and went to Walmart. There were someo people in there that didn't seem too happy to be there. Or at least they may have been intimadated by me as I liek to smile and I am very social. Its Thanksgiving and its time to share and give thanks for what we got. I do believe that a smile can pass along 10 more smiles. It is nice to do a good deed everyday as it creates a domino effect in my opinion.

Yesterday was a pretty cool day. We went to Indianapolis as I love getting my hair done. We then went to tour Lucas Oil Stadium "home of the Indianapolis Colts". The best part was being on the football field. WOOHOO that was cool. David was rolling around on the ground and I was tackling him lol. I will post some pictures later. Heres a fun fact I learned. There are so many wires in the stadium that it can wrap around the world 3 times.

I go on a 7 day cruise in 2 days. I am so excited. I never been on a cruise before. David went shopping with me for a dress. Bless his heart. It took a couple of hours and every dress I tried on I either broke it, it wouldn't zip all the way, or it just wasn't built for a muscle chic. It was a pretty funny going from store to store. I finally got lucky and found a couple dresses. YEAH!

Oh I did go to Weber Grill and this place was awesome. DO check it out if you love ribs and hamburgers.

I want to give a huge shout out to the all the wonderful ladies that will be competing at the NPC Nationals. You ladies worked really hard and regardless of where each of you places you are all champions. Nationals is one of the toughest shows of the year as every class winner gets IFBB Professional Status which increases the number of competitors. Winning the overall at the Nationals is a real honor. There will be 4 lucky ladies who will win BIG and one lucky lady that will clean house and take all. Last year the Overall Winner was Kristy Hawkins. She was absolutly amazing. Her physque was shredded and she was beautiful overall.

I heard that this year the prejudging is going to be on Friday for female bodybuilding. That will make things more interesting. :)

As you know I am a moderator at Siouxcountry.com and I want to tell you honestly it is one of the very best sites in the industry. Sioux has worked very hard on this site and is now offering sponsorship for a lucky lady in 2009.

I encourage you to join Siouxcountry.com. You can mention my name as a referral. It is a safe clean forum for ladies in the industry. You don't have to worry about drama like on other boards.

Fall is upon us here in Indiana. I never seen anything so beautiful. I never got to see what fall was really about back in Florida. Right now its cool here in the evening. Tonight we have a low of 54. So I get to open my windows up tonight. Believe it or not I can't wait for the cold weather. I am not use to it yet being a tropical person and all. I can't wait to make my first snow angel and and go sledding down the hills.

I went to the covered bridge festival in Mansfield, Indiana. From October 10th through the 19th there are 16 covered bridge festivals throughout scenic Parke County. Mansfield is the biggest festival bringing in more than 2 million. On the way to Mansfield along the road people were holding yard sales. I never seen so many yard sales in my life. lol. It was nuts.
When we got to Mansfield I was amazed. There were so many vendors here. Its a huge flea market. Everyone had there little carts filled with stuff. I saw a lot of arts and crafts some of which were very cute. The food was a little pricey here, but very good. One thing I really liked was the fried cheese curds. I didn't get to try the homemade pumpkin ice cream. Maybe next time. Oh I did get cheated out of my lemon slushie. It was mostly ice more than anything LOL. I was just amazed by the amount of people I saw. One thing that I really wanted was a homemade quilt. I always wanted one since I was a kid. I didn't get lucky finding one.
I also got a glimpse of the moon while I was in Mansfield.......
