counter for blogspot

Its a long weekend for me as we got more snow here in Terre Haute. I rather have snow than ice any day. I counted at least 8 Cardinals so far as they are playing in the trees and a few of them have flown up to my balcony. I need to get some bird feed for them.

I went looking back again at some of my older blog post going back to 2008 and 2009. Things like Vegas , Arnold, etc. . I can't give you a direct answer as to why I went back looking at that stuff but I did. It was on my mind. Happy times. I had so much love, passion, and feelings into my words. You don't make stuff like that up. What I experienced with my training, prep and other things was real stuff and I still feel that strongly towards those things despite certain outcomes or how things recently have turned. uh oh....be back in a little bit someone just spilled water all over my kitchen counter and it got everywhere on the floor.

be back soon
stay tuned

I got it

Good Morning and Good Night LOL :) I'm up going to do cardio here in a little bit. I know I told you I would be back later yesterday evening but someone *ahem* feel asleep on the couch ha ha.

I personally don't believe the Groundhogs prediction this year. Sorry Phil, your cute as a button but your accuracy is only 39% lol. There are still several thousand people without power here in Terre Haute. Its still icy out there and dangerous especially if your walking around. Be careful and check road conditions before heading out.

Best of friends
You don't see this very often at all. It's more of a hissing match.

and then Pookie got sensitive and it was only one

Bunny's in the other room snoring and its LOUD. Yesterday we went walking and Bunny likes to run and play. So I let her lose to run and she starts running and then slides on the ice. I'm laughing writing this as it was so funny seeing this little dog running and then sliding the rest of the way. I have to take a break for a minute here as I can't stop laughing at the visual.....It was really funny and cute at the same time. She didn't know any better. That could have been on America's funniest home videos
I actually may be going to Charleston a little earlier than I thought to see a old friend of mine. It will be a happy time but I know there will be those" You had me at hello" moments for me

peek a boo

Here is something cool a friend of mine pointed out to me. At the playoff game for Colts Jets game which yours truly attended. If you look at the fancam, you can find your section which mine was 141 row 17 seat 22. So My friend looked for me and found me. I look like a goofball lol. I was actually walking back to my seat but if you look good you will spot me :)

I hope everyone is safe and doing okay. This storm has created a mess. Burrrr it's cold outside. I'm debating on whether I should even attempt to go drive or if I should just stay home. After being here for the last few years, I still don't have the hang of this weather. It's the Florida girl in me I guess. I want some chili :P

I may just bundle up and go for a walk at or get the camera out and see if I can take a few snapshots of what it looks like here. I didn't get much sleep last night as the trees were dancing and the wind was howling to the wrath of mother nature. I took a little stroll outside since I couldn't sleep, and it was too bad. I didn't slip and fall lol. SO i was up watching the weather channel and Jim Cantore was talking and then all of the sudden he experiences a thunder snow. LOL. I would be running and hiding for cover. It's pretty scary and goes to show you how bad Chicago got hit. Here's the video from Youtube. I just can't get enough of Jim's reaction.

That would scare the dickens out of me.

I'm looking outside my balcony and see the little birds and Cardinals playing and flying around. At least they are having fun.I would love to go ice skating right now. Everyone is sleeping here in my home.

I've got internet and cable so I'm set, for now. Right now I'm listening to VH1 Classic totally 80's. I love the 80s, and theres nothing like that music as it has in my opinion a lot of heart and passion. I've only met a few that share the same love for the 80s as I do. Here is a song I like LOL A all time favorite. love love love this song

well another one of my other many favorite songs just came on "bang on the drum all day". They play this a lot especially when the Colts get a touchdown at the game and the flag boys run out and of course its famous for the Carnival commercials. Not to mention its my ringtone.

I will catch up more this evening....need to get some things off my mind and it's hard to do that

Now is the time.......

to be roasting in the Caribbean, walking on the beach, and collecting sea shells. No jacket, no layers of clothes, no snow boots, just shorts and a tank top. There's nothing like hearing the sounds of the waves crashing against the sand and laying on the beach and taking in the fresh sea air. Of course as an added bonus, one can't leave out having a fruity drink with a umbrella, a slice of pineapple, topped with a bright red maraschino cherry :). Instead, little miss Isabelle is enjoying the freezing rain and ice that we've been experiencing here in Terre Haute since last night. Break out the blankets, cocoa (in my case tea), chili (I wish), and movies as its going to be a long and cold night.

I must admit this morning when I went outside to walk Bunny. It was beautiful how the trees were encased in ice. It reminded me of large Swarovski crystals. I like shiny and glittery things lol. These are not driving conditions that's for sure. You may be a safe driver but you never know what can happen out there and then you have to watch out for those other drivers. Lots of sliding going on. The power hasn't gone off in my place yet, but the lights have been flickering a little bit here and there. Luckily I made my food ahead of time. When I went to Wally World yesterday, it was chaos, little necessities were clearing the shelves fast like water, candles, toliet paper, etc. LOL. In weather like this, all you can do is stay home and stay warm and pray for the best, and hope the worst doesn't happen. This is also a time *wink when babies are made ha ha. I remember how their were a lot of babies born 9 months later after Katrina. The media made a big deal about that. I'm sure they will here as well, especially with the horrible mess in Oklahoma and Chicago. Hey it gives them another reason for a "positive story", which we can always use as I don't know about you but I get tired of hearing about depressing news.

Well at least I have a Anytime Fitness down the street to work out at. 24 hours 7 days a week. Now if the power is out then I'm out of gas..ha ha. Yesterday when I was doing one of my cardio sessions, every cardio machine I went too rejected my Ipod. I guess it didn't like me. So there I am plugging it in to the elliptical and it wouldn't read then I went on to the next and the next, etc. Finally I said forget about it and plugged my earphones in the screen to watch TV. I don't mind the TV but I can barely see the screen as its too dark. It would be nice if there was a cardio theater where we can watch movies but that cost too much money and there's no room for that anyway.

If you haven't already heard, the NY Pro has been canceled. As an athlete we never know what the outcome of a show can be as it is unpredictable. Whether your amateur, or pro, we just don't know. But let me say this, keep the faith and keep strong. Just because a show is canceled doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Keep positive, stay focused and keep the course moving forward. When one door closes another one will open. :)

I have to find a pair of BDUs (battle dress uniform) for next month's class. I'm on the hunt and I think my best bet is getting them in Indianapolis. One concern I have is finding the right pants that fit. Its really no fun having a pair of pants that fit your legs but the waist is too big. Very annoying. I didn't even think about the length too. I will just have to get them altered if that be the case. Wish me luck in my search.

Anyone want some kids. My 3 kids(pets) are driving me nuts. Bunny is the enforcer keeping the cats in check. Her way of keeping them in check is sitting on them or humping them lol. Leo likes hiding under the couch. So when Bunny walks up near the couch you see these paws coming out from under the couch not to mention these little ears peeping as he is on his back. I tried to get video of it this evening but he kept hiding from the video. Maybe next time. I have to buy one of those pet gates as the cats like playing hide and seek running constantly up and down the stairs.

Superbowl Week!!!!!
I'm a Colts fan all the way but for this game. I want to see the Packers win. Next years Superbowl in Indianapolis, the Colts will be playing in that baby. You can bet I will be going to that one. My very first SB.

Night Yah'll
