Hello everyone,
I have currently started dieting as I want to "rock and roll" the stage next year. I have a awesome new training partner and have been making some good gains. I actually posted a picture on Facebook of my "fluffy abs" lol. Im on a mission right now and it's a tough one. I will conquer and get through this. I have one of the best support groups around me and I have my best friend with me to keep me in check on certain things.

Now the tough news.......

Its been a tough road as my grandmother underwent a serious surgery on her back and is not doing too good. It's very tough for me to bear as we never want to see our loved ones in pain or suffer. It hasn't been easy for the past two months and dealing with the grandma thing. She raised me from birth and I don't want anything to happen to her. Will keep you posted.

My morning routine is usually getting up, watching the news, and then getting my dose of the news on the internet. The first place I always go is Drudgereport.com and this is the BIG headline...

Can you imagine how I felt and the multiple heart attacks I had seeing this headline. Well this is the start of my morning. OH Joy. Manning is my homeboy and this will crush many many Colts fans including me. Not to mention its not going to go too well with fantasy football

Despite an unsubstantiated report on Indianapolis radio that Manning already underwent a third neck procedure, SI’s Peter King reports that it hasn’t happened. Yet.
“Peyton Manning has not had a procedure on his neck, I am told reliably,” King wrote on Twitter. “Manning could have a procedure. He and team still investigating options. But it has not happened yet.”
In theory, that should make Colts fans feel better. But it’s telling that King’s sources admit Manning may have to undergo another procedure.
The information King passes along is similar to what the Colts blog 18to88.com has reported. If surgery was not on the table, the Colts would quickly deny the possibility.
Instead, Manning is releasing statements about missing his teammates. The Colts are entering the great unknown, and they may be there a while.

Im counting down the days and its getting closer and closer. Im sitting here enjoying some good music and writing my blog. Everything is goign good and I apologize for not blogging as much as I do usually. I promise I will get back into the swing starting now. Peyton is not going to be doing the season opener and I am bummed about it but it was really expect if you didn't see that coming...you missed the memo. He just renewed his contract recently so he is pretty set even if he doesn't play. I hope that he will be ready for the Stealers game. If he isnt playing some of these games I can assure you I may not go and just go hang out with friends as it is NOT the same without the Manningnator. Okay time to go and have a little fun. Its nice how things work out in the end

Ive had a long morning so far lol. Hung out with a few friends early this morning before I went to do early cardio around 4:15 in the morning. Yep im a early bird. I went to Umi grill and sushi last night and I'm still feeling the sushi this morning....poor me. I do have some food porn pics from my sushi night if your a sushi fan. Will post later. If you haven't noticed I'm a foodie:).

Well Im still stalling on those Victory pictures only for the simple fact because I have over 900 pictures. I cant even begin to think how many pictures i will take in October. Im going to try and take a power nap if I can. Wish me luck. It seems like everyday has been a real adventure and it keeps getting better *wink. Hold on to your hats as its going to be a bumpy ride. This weekend is going to be a lot of fun but I will tell you later as I really need this power nap.......Zzzzzzzzzzz

Enjoy life, make the best of it and totally have fun in the process. I'm a ray of sunshine, and no one is going to take that away from me :). I love being a foodie, traveler, and a lot of other things *smile*. Most importantly I love being me. In less than 60 days I will be in Barcelona, Spain. I told you I'm a adventurer *wink. I can't wait for October as lots of things are going on such as Great White Cage Diving in San Francisco off the Fallon Islands. I'm scared out of my mind on that. Yes, I like to do wild out there things and of course the impossible. Thats just me. I try to motivate others to live their life and stop making excuses. Anyway, I'm trying to put together right now a review of the Carnival Victory and there are so many pictures not to mention I don't want to miss certain details.

South beat North this weekend. BOOOO. The crowd was huge and people were rowdy as some had been lit up prior to the game tailgating. My own thoughts are I wish there was more action, as it wasn't lively enough for me. North wasn't on the ball as they should of been. Till next year. The Terre Haute block party was nice as I never would imagine I would be walking down the middle of the street doing splits and then laying on the middle on the road LOL I .never done those things before and I always like to try and explore new things. (pictures to come btw). Me and my firefighter friend sat in the middle of the street people watching the party people and intoxicated people walk from one side of the street to the other. Its funny seeing hwo they act. I saw some people that was "classic" Terre Haute common folk. The night was fun and got to see some of the boys that lift at the Rec down there too.

My ears are still ringing from the loud roar of the pipes on a huge hog I rode yesterday. I was sad as it was also the last call at BW3s as they will be closed for a week due to the remodel. What are we going to do??? LOL

Jim Irsay Tweets a favoring of Favre to "Fill In" for Manning? Is this a Joke?

To joke or not to joke. The media is eating up the latest tweet from Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay where he is saying he is meeting up with Bret Farve as we need his assistance. I am going to say it is a joke gone overboard. But, I would take Bret Favre over Curtis Painter any day. If Manning isn't healthy to play and we have no choice other than Painter, we are going to be in trouble. I have nothing against Painter and give him credit as he is under some serious pressure and it takes a lot to fill in those big shoes of Mannings. He is trying, but this year is very vital for us. Preseason is not that big of a deal as some make it out to be. Its the regular season that counts. I would take my chances with Favre if he filled in for a few games for Manning. I like Favre as a Q and he has a great record. We shall see but hopefully there is a right tunnel at the end of all this. GOOOOOO COLTS!!!! Could you imagine how much more money the Colts would be generating in if that was to happen.

This has got to be one of the coolest things that is a must do and you have to try the jet blast too as it will blow you away..litterally. You know who hint hint thought this was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I had to experience this for myself and see first hand. Th jet blast was awesome as it knocks you down. Not to mention you get a lot of sand everywhere. I had a video of it but someone hint..hint.. deleted it by accident. It was the coolest experience and a must do to add to your list. Imagine a 380 landing in this airport LOL

Just wanted to pop in real quick as a certain Colts fan is having fun as you can see in these photos.

Oh I have learned a lot of interesting things in the last two months like my obsession with gnomes and some other things that made me puke. Moving onward....on a positive one I'm celebrating and will be doing what I love the most at least 5 more times before the end of the year. No its not Colts games but you can bet your tail I will be there for some of the good ones and some aways like the Bucs game.

I trained legs today and it was short and sweet. I had a few people approach me in the gym commenting on my arms and telling me I need to get them in shape. I also had a guy that is a crew member give me a free excusrion for a sea turtle encounter for a training program. Now that is cool. I guess I had an effect on him with my bodybuilding. He showed me all his supplements and asked my opinion and now I am his close friend LOL. Well I am blessed. I met more people tonight that worked with my crazy cruise friend who is actually my waiter and assistant. I have so much to tell you but till later

Making the best of it

Its just me and the gnome doing the conga and eating like royalty not to mention seeing some places here and there. I am and will admit "shocked" as the outcome wasn't suppose to be like this. My gnome is ready to work out right now and then have some breakfast and explore a few things. I have a long week and I can tell you now my feet are throbbing from wearing heels yesterday lol. "HELP"!!! I'm starting a thing now with the gnome and capturing his adventures and silly ones at that. I will keep you posted. Its just us and on here I am surrounded by a ton of avatars. Then on the flip side there is lots of Latin flavor too. But as I usually would say it is never the same and hasn't been but I still manage and be silly ole me. I had a AWESOME table last night right near the water. I LOVE the water and have an obsession with it lol. Explains when I wanted to be a Marine Biologist in my younger days of college and I'm a Florida girl with some island in me :) I will say the MDR did not impress me and I am really shock howthe MDR is runned and my Dessi would straighten that out real fast. I got asked and actually picked on top of that about how much I eat. Well I showed him lol. The service not only to me others around me was so bad I skipped out on the melting cake and just left. I did meet a couple of people that have worked with her. I always hear people say about her that she is bouncing all over the place and lol she really does haha. I miss her and some other things as its not replacable. I will be seeing her real soon and I think as much as she is gonna see me sees gonna get sick of me. OH Well she will ust have to deal with that ...hahaha. I can't stop singing and dancing around too. Something else about me you didn't know. I LOVE music and can't live with out it. :) Lat night was really kicking and the crowd was jumping.

Time to go to the gym and get my flex on. Can't be skimping out on that as I love working out too much. SO does the gnome. Its sad about a few things but hey one has to look at the bright side of things and I always do. will write more later on today ..I promise

I woke up this morning dead tired and looked like a frizz ball so I said why not take a picture lol.

My Colts Gnome is my best friend and yesterady he was so upset he wanted to get away and today since he is the most interesting man in the world why not have a Dos Equis XX to take away the sting that the Rams gave the Colts in a 33-10 final yesterday.

Look Rams..its only preseason so don't get all excited you beat us. Our beloved Peyton is recovering and wen he returns "LOOK OUT". In the mean time the gnome needed a getaway and he got one. So this is the pilot boat that guides the ships in and out of port. Here is a up close shot of one. Well gnome is all over the place so dont be surprised to see him here and there. Hes a lot to handle lol.

Lastly to my good friend who sent me pictures of the cats. i absoulttly loved them. You know how I love animals. I should have called hercules Mr. Cuddlesworth. He is always cuddling and I LOVE to cuddle or in my words snuggle. :)

Im sore today...Pickleball did a number on me haha.
Time for me to pack my bags. All I need is a gym and thats my Disneyland. Theres a saying that goes "the world is an ocean....sail it" and that I am. I love to explore and do new adventures and try out of the ordinary things. I love to get out and just do the unexpected and I always have. I am a adrenaline junkie too :). Im looking very forward to the fall. So much has happened and so many things have been said that its encouraged me to do the impossible and make the best of things as I have always done since I was in diapers walking around saying da da.
Somehow no matter what Im always connected to Florida. Does she miss me that bad?? Im not amazed by how I hear about Florida and a few other things but Im always connected to it. Dont worry Miss Florida Im still here in your corner. Not much longer till we will be best friends again. Hang in there lol. Be Strong.......

Shooting stars and the Creeper of the park

I saw the the most amazing thing last night. I was doing my normal late night walk with Bunny after 12:30 am or so and I look up at the sky for a second and there before me I saw a very bright shooting star that lasted longer than most. I have never seen a star so bright in my life. I have seen many meteor showers and August is usually the best month to watch meteors. Right now is the Perseid Meteor Shower. Around mid August like the 12-13th the shower will be at its peak. If there is one thing I love a lot it is star gazing. I can lay on ground and watch the stars for hours. Its amazing and enchanting not to mention relaxing. I did this early this morning. I laid the blanket down on the grass and gazed at the stars.

Each and everyone of us is like a star as they are unique in every way.

It was a gorgeous night with a cool breeze and clear sky. I did get freaked out a couple times as the bats were flying by and I don't want any bat cooties. LOL. of course you would here the trains going by blowing their horns and I loved it. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I will be heading to Briddle Park in a few to learn a new sport. Pickle ball?? I have no clue what it is but I'm game. Wish me luck. I'm so pooped from my workout. Theres nothing like a good peanut butter shake to make everything better. Soon Victory awaits me then a few Destinies and maybe a Miracle followed by some Magic in March :). None of you have a slight clue as to what I'm talking about but I do...LOL. I'm actually not feeling Victory for some reason. I can't put my finger as to why but I'm not as excited as I normally get and I'm serious about that. Quite strange. Ive been thinking about it for the last few days and I just don't get it lol.

After the gym closed I went to Deming Park and walked the hill a few times. Mind you I am ALONE and then I see this man pull up in a van. Well then he walks out and walks towards the hill acting like he was going to walk the hill or at least that's what I thought. Boy I was wrong...LOL. Well he started talking to me about the weather and telling me about himself. I see this guys trick lol. He had a bandage on his arm and telling me he got injured....Right and I'm Mary freaking Poppins. The jigs up pal lol. Basically he picks up women at parks. hahaha. The troll thought he found some treasure here and he was dead wrong hahaha. Of course I'm nice as he seemed a little slow but then I started walking away and he followed and then I pass his car and he says to me this is my mini van lol. Okay.....that's nice haha. Like I asked him in the first place. I then got the heck out of dodge. What a creepy guy. Well that's my funny or somewhat funny story. Beware ladies always have a buddy with you or a good can of mace or brass knuckles J/k on that LOL.

Well I have a few more days till I'm off and then its back to the books for me. Some of you may of noticed I deleted my talk of Nationals, etc from my previous blog. I got some "good" news over the weekend with some other things I have planned, that I'm gonna keep my lip zipped. I will keep you posted. You know I did some thinking about a couple things that's been on my mind. We never know why things happen the way they do but in the end everything works out. I grateful for having the friends I do and you know *wink wink WHO you are. I just want to say a huge thank you for your support ...*always*. It means a lot to me.

I have some adventures coming up if all goes well and one in less than 8 days. I have been under the weather and still managed to have some good laughs and watching Tosh.0(funny stuff). I will keep you posted on the adventures as everday really is an adventure for me. Its adventure making my protein drink as well as other things like putting on my jeans.

Look at me I'm smiling ......you know why?? Cause I'm happy and I'm glowing.

So I know in the past I have talked about motorcycles will I got to go cruising yesterday and it was fuuuuuuun. Except getting the hair messed up. That was not fun. At least no bugs got me ha ha. How do I look. Is it me??

Ricks Smokehouse...Best BBQ in Terre Haute

It doesn't get any better than this. Rick's Smokehouse in Terre Haute really knows BBQ. I'm sure you've seen the great commercials of Rick singing the smokehouse tune. :) One of the things I really love once you enter the restaurant is the family atmosphere. You feel the love once you walk in. Great staff too and very caring to the customer. You also can't help but notice all the cool piggy knick knacks, and a few other things around the restaurant. As for the food. Everything is good. One of my favorites is the rib tips, and of course the beef brisket. You may find yourself ordering a little it of everything on the menu.

This movie gets two thumbs up from me and is very Funny. Theres lots of use of the word F*** and Bitchin Dave and Mitchell are a riot. I highly recommend it if you like "out there" comedies.

If you don't like dogs or they are just not your cup of tea, I think I can change that. Meet my friend Boo, he is a Pomeranian and shaveed as you can see. He is sooooooooooo Cute and cuddly. Natioanl Night Out a Huge Sucess In Terre Haute

I want to take a moment and thank the law enforcement agencies, Mayor Duke Bennet, the American Red Cross, and other organizations that participated in the National Night Out. So many families came out and then some others came out of the wood work. :) I helped out the American Red Cross walking around and handing out water. It was water madness. I got stopped by a couple of kids who wanted thier picture taken with me and then some others became my new fans. There was another incident where a mom walked up to me and told me her son was in love with me lol. How cute is that. I took a picture with him and his sister. It was sweet.

It was so great helping out and meeting people in the community. I even gave water a few times to mayor Duke Bennet. Very nice guy and down to earth. :)

I saw this guy from the side and noticed his blue beard but when I approached him to talk Colts I then noticed his eyes...Pretty wild and he certainly bleeds blue for the Colts

National Night Out In Terre Haute
I will be there helping out the Red Cross handing out water and doing other activities. See you there

National night out is Tuesday, August 2nd at Fairbanks Park. It'll run from 5:00 p.m.-9 p.m. NBC-2 will broadcast live from 5-6:30.
"National Night Out is a project of the National Association of Town Watch, an organization dedicated to the development and promotion of organized law enforcement-affiliated crime and drug prevention programs. The nationwide event is usually scheduled for the first Tuesday in August."

Las Vegas was jam packed with heavily armed, muscled, and fit bodies as the NPC USAs had over 640+ competitors. What great turnout and this one will go down in the books.

I have watched Steve from the beginning when he first got started in bodybuilding. Steve's put a lot of time in the sport and his body. Michelle Devere...Such a pretty physique she has to look at with nice lines. Michelle loves bodybuilding and puts so much heart, passion and dedication into it. I am very proud of her and her accomplishments. She is a ball of fire, so look out :)

Many of you know Kira Newman. She has a pretty physique and she recently competed in the Hoosier muscle and the Indiana State where she won both shows. Hopefully we will see her later on at maybe North American or Nationals

Happy Birthday!!!!!!I'm amazed not much talk was said today about Arnolds "the Terminators" birthday. He has really made bodybuilding what it is today. I will also never forget my moment celebrating his birthday in LA a few years back with a few IFBB Pros. It was one of the coolest things ever.
Cheers to You Arnold and Best Wishes on your birthday. I would smoke a Pardon cigar for you but I don't have one near by. Pardons are very top quality cigars and I would recommend trying the anniversary one as it is very nice..

It was late at night and I decided to watch the movie "Machete". It is so funny and we can't forget the blood splattering action. Happy weekend everyone. I did yoga this morning and an ab workout. It was good. I took Bunny to Deming park and we played and walked a bit as it wasn't too hot for her. I'm feeling in the mood to train in a little bit.

here's a funny one for you. Hercules (the Bengal) growled at his toys the other day. I never heard him do that before and it was LOUD. He was attacking a tennis ball as he was protecting his toy bird he had in his mouth. Silly cat. Hes eating Bunny's treats and dog food and its driving me nuts.

and I am starting out my morning fresh and rejuvenated. I justoi got done taking a yoga class and it was incedible. I feel a load off my shouldersYesterday I trained my least favorite body part..legs. It's been a long time since I really trained legs a little intense. Now yesterdays workout can't hang with my past leg training as thise training moments were insane. But I did have a blast here yesterday. I used to normally do leg press going up to 15-16 plates of 45 on each side. Yesterday I did 26 plates total. I was proud but was hurting after the workout. I really am picking up the pace and last night I was going to take a ab shot and body shot for you guys but I'm gonna wait.

The Indiana State and Hoosier Muscle was a good show and we had some pretty close calls in some of the mens classes. We also had 2 engagements take place too. One of them I won't mention his name started doing his posing routine and then walked off the stage onto the audience and I thought he was gonna do something crazy (we have had that a few times). Well the guy asked his girl to marry him and then he came back on and trophies were awarded for that class. This guy was in two divisons and he didnt win the first one and when the 2nd round came for him.......guess what, he was no where to be found or as we like to say missing in action. My guess is he got upset with his placing and decided to be party pooper about it. I can't stand attitudes like that. Oh well.... It happens at some of these contest. I don't get it.

Moving on....the 2nd porposal was soo cute and his name is Joey and he won the entire show. He looked awesome and he is doing USAs this weekend. I really think he is going to bring "shock and awe" to Vegas. Anyway, he is a really cool guy. Congrats to Joey and his finace as they make a magical pair. Love is a powerful thing especially when you get that special kind of love that bonds you. Congrats again on the engagement my friend

It was our last show and I had a blast. I met so many wonderful people and competitors. Not to mention a few Facebook friends. I did go to St. Elmos Steakhouse the Friday before, which was awesome except that fact my steak was medium when I wanted medium rare lol. I didn't care as the steak was so good. I would go again and again. I will be helping the Red Cross with National Night out at Fairbanks park. Its going to be busy especially with this heat. Last year was pretty cool. I hope some of you can come out. Next month will be nice as st lucia st kitts barbados st martin and st thomas as calling my name. Now later.in the year i will be paying my Carnival friend a few visits out of Miami. You know I love food:) and getting a dark tan not to mention the ocean and most importantly seeing my funny friend.I just did abs so its meal time later its biceps and shoulders....boooooooGooooooo Colts. ....Im so excited we have FOOTBALL again

There's a guy over here in Starbucks blowing his nose and each time he does it sounds like a trumpet lol. He can be on Americas Got Talent. Gosh that was funny as a couple of people jumped and then some were giggling like me. Now if I can only tell this lady across the room to turn down the volume as I'm sure a lot of us don't really want to hear her phone conversation about her bowel movements lol..

From my grueling workout the last few days except yesterday as it was a "I'm very sore and I can't move" holiday for yours truly. I worked myself till the fat lady sang and yesterday I felt the after affects. I'm still feeling the pain but I will be venturing my happy sore, can barely walk, sit and move my arms to the gym today. Despite the soreness, I also have had a very bad sore throat for the last 2 weeks. I'm a mute as it hurts sometimes to talk. I'm sure a lot of you are happy about the fact I can't open my mouth and say a few words lol ....like......well never mind. No worries tough as I am still keeping my bubbly self going and smiling. I could be on my death bed and I will still be a happy go lucky self.

Guess who is going to volunteer a few times at the Colts training camp :).....well I'm in if we even have a training camp that is due to all this lockout hoopla.

Looking very forward to NPC Indiana's biggest show , the NPC Indiana State and the HOOOOSIER Classic. Lots of competitors which means a heavy workload for the judges. Sadly this is the last Indiana show for the rest of the year. *sigh* We will have a blast and make the best of it.

I might as well throw this out there while I'm sitting here bloggin. I plan to attend a few National shows which you can count me in for Nationals. Not to mention I will be attending a couple Pro shows like the Master Olympia Dec 10 in Miami. I can't miss that one. $100,000 is on the line. The Masters Olympia was started in the early 90s and was discontinued after 2003. I'm hearing all types of big names being thrown into this competition. I admit yes I am a geek and yes I do have a shirt that says "geek" lol. I like my Star Wars, Transformers, Mac products, technology, and all that other hoopla. But when it comes to bodybuilding I love to collect old memorabilia or old magazines. Its amazing how much bodybuilding has evolved. If I had an era to choose where I could live the "bodybuilder" dream it would be in the late 70s to early 90s. Huge difference between then and now. Lots of massive Titans, that are just unreal. There is nothing like a beautiful flowing symmetrical body. Just gorgeous to look at from head to toe. I remember going on eBay and looking up Olympia and believe or not someone actually was selling a Sandow from the Mr. Olympia. I couldn't believe it and silly me I missed the opportunity. I wont see that again.

As for myself. I am currently prepping Arnold Classic but as we all know you have to be invited to it. It doesn't hurt to try. I do have one person behind me that is goign to be a good guide in my corner. They are more an an artist and can do wonders with a physique. I have changed my normal routine with off season dieting and decided to go back to organics and whole foods. The change has made a big difference as right now I am currently 169lbs and of course as I said before usually I am in the 185+ range. You can see that in past blogs lol. I mean business and take training and dieting seriously. I really enjoy the competitive edge especially in bodybuilding. I love competition pretty much in anything LOL...I've had that drive since I was a young. If your a close friend you know what I am talking about.

Theres just something about classic 80s music that sparks me. Theres so much soul and passion to the music. Many have forgotten just how good it used to be. Todays music is good but lacks the feeling and passion. When I listen to 80s music it brings back some fond memories of denim jackets, fishnet gloves and rocker hairstyles, not to mention some feelings as songs back then really expressed love :) among other things. Im listening to Bon Jovi "livin on a prayer" and then its "the Fixx" and then maybe some Tears for Fears

A candlelight vigil will be held in Terre Haute on Friday night at 7 p.m. outside the Vigo County Courthouse.
The organizers ask that you wear a blue or black shirt as a sign of respect for the fallen officer.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The funeral arrangements have been made for Officer Brent Long.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 17th at Indiana State's Hulman Center at 200 North 8th, Terre Haute, Ind.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 18th at the Hulman Center as well.

Burial will follow the services on Monday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery located at 3455 South Fagin Street, Terre Haute, IN. The route the funeral procession will take to the cemetery will be announced later.

Funeral services are being arranged by the Indiana State Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Team and the Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home.

The funeral will also be aired live on WTHI-TV and WTHITV.com.

A helpline has been created for the whole Terre Haute community who would like to talk to someone about Officer Brent Long. To talk to someone on the Dignity Memorial Compassionate Helpline you can call 1-800-854-8080.

Police Officer Brent Long was shot and killed as he and other officers served a felony warrant at a house.

A task force comprised of officers from the United States Marshals Service, Indiana State Police and Terre Haute Police Department, including Officer Long, knocked on the back door of the house on North 8th Street to serve a felony warrant. Several people exited the house, but not the wanted suspect. As the officers made entry into the home the suspect opened fire on them, striking Officer Long and his canine, Shadow. The suspect was shot and killed by return fire.

Officer Long was transported to Union Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Shadow was taken to a veterinary clinic and is expected to recover.
Officer Long had served with the Terre Haute Police Department for six years. He is survived by his wife, 11-year-old daughter, and 10-year-old son.
**This is such a sad time for Terre Haute and across the nation. God bless our Fallen Hero Brent Long. Thank you for your Service. Sending thoughts and prayers to Brents family, the entire Terre Haute Police Department, and healing prayers to Shadow.**

Me and mommy. She wanted me to tell you all thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Of course we butt heads...shes mom and you know how that goes. I helped her put her garden together and then we had a girls night out at the house. Then of course me and sissy being our silly selves. She will be with me in a few weeks. Can't wait

On another note for the last 2 days I got to ride a Triumph Rocket 3 which is pretty darn cool for a motorcycle. I had a blast and got a tan too lol. Then Heres something cool. I had a thing for airplanes and simply think they are awesome. I actually plan on taking flying lessons either in Terre Haute or in Orlando. I just love planes. A good friend of mine who is awesome took me to Orlando International Airport to get up close and personal with a few big powerful birds courtesy, of Continental and United. I got to see several planes and do some pretty cool things. I also got to see a 737 800 gutted. That was cool seeing what a plane looks like taken apart. I learned alot not to mention I got to sit in the Captains seat.

Wanted to tell everyone thank you for your support, prayers, thoughts, and encouraging words with my mothers health. It really meant a lot to me and my mother as I put together all the responses and she was greatly touched by them. She is so so right now. I've been trying to do things to lift her spirits up and not think about anything. Ez Rent a car, who always takes care of me put me into a black Dodge Challenger with under 400 miles lol. I thought that was very very nice of them. Thank you for the hook up and mom is really digging it and grandma had to drive it....lol. It makes me happy that I can be here for my mother and do whatever i can to make her happy. It makes me very happy to see her smile and not think or stress about her situation. I won't lie she is a hand full lol....TRUST ME.. hahaha

Of course I had to stop by Vitamin Shoppe and pick up some protein for the big adventure coming up

Well we Mom myself and my sister all took a power nap earlier and now we are packing up the cooler and going to drive out to the cape for the last Shuttle Launch. There is a very good chance it won't launch today but I am willing to take that risk and to be with my mother and sister means a lot to me Especially my mom being by my side. I love her to death.

On another note I look forward to a few moments of the day where I get bubbly and giggly as I get nice little spontaeous hi/hellos here and there from a good friend. It really brightened my day yesterday as its always spontaneous and unexpected. I never know when its gonna happen but when it does ....**SMILE** Makes me all happy lol. and tingly....J/k. its to now I am thought of. :) *hugs*

I feel bad right now as my mother is not doing good. She is a tough NY Latin cookie but she does have a soft side. She found out she has a nerve tumor on her spine. If its not one thing its another. She recently a few months back had tumors removed elsewhere. Even though my mother and I have clash heads many times. I love her very much as she is my mother. She didn't want to tell my younger sister but my grandmother made her as Erica needs to know. I haven't handled this well as I have known this for a few days now. I feel in my heart I need to be with her which means I will be flying to Florida here very soon.

I truly ask for all of your thoughts and prayers for my mother. I never like to be the bearer of bad news but if I am mentioning this on my blog, you know this is serious. I will keep you posted.

Im on my way to some competition at ISU watching the football guys compete against eachother. One of my clients I train is competing and I need to show my support.

News Flash my Bengals name is Hercules as he has really responded very well to this. Could it be because he comes from Olympia Bengals in Austin, TX. They all have mythological names. Im strongly thinking of getting one more Bengal except this one is white as my Cali friend has both and they are cute. We will see.

Anyways I woke up this morning energized and ready to conquer the world. I havent had this feeling in a long long time. Its complicated to explain but I am at peace finally. People say and do things that in the end it turns out to be a big blessing and in my case its a big one. I never realized how blind Ive been and how much time I wasted. On another note it seems I have been made into a bad girl. A person can insult me till they turn blue in the face. I dont care, its not affecting me or my life any way. It fuels me even more to be the best I can be and live the interesting not to mention exciting life I do. The almighty belle has spoken... ;). There are no more nerves to be striked here. They've been clipped.

U2 concert will be here before I know it. I am thinkibg about doing a triathalon here in Indiana coming up in August. It will be my first and I have a friend who js gonna help me train for it. Next month we are going sky diving. Omg Im nervous about it but Im ready so bring it. I just signed up two great athletes that Im gonna train. One for track the other for football. Im going to go to a conference for trainers coming up and I will keep you informed about it.

I am looking forward to this morning as I get to train with one of my friends and spend a little bit of time with them playing games before he leaves for month doing whale shark research. Why did it have to be this long till we became friends beats the heck out of me. He lives an intresting life and how many people can say they have been to Antartica. Well Im happy to be among the many if his friends.

My apologies as my blog was full of errors. I have an automatic spell checker that had a mind of its own.I'm on a mission to be have chiseled abs and a booming body. I'm good now for season but want to be more detailed. Thanks mom and dad for my genetics.;) I want to do the impossible and I will as I always believe if you put your mind to it you can achieve anything. Just believe in you and don't let people drag you down. You know what I'm talking about the drama and negative people. Keep a good distance from those.

Once again its on. People. ....well some don't realize the hard work that goes into detailing a physique of a bodybuilder. Once 8again I will be changing up my training at the gym and if some people don't like that....tough. I am a pro and this is what I need to do. I have some great oppertunities lined up for me and I have to be at my best which is me as a whole. :-)

I've changed a lot of things around before I go away and I have been trying "check off" things that I've been wanting to do (fun things etc) or say things that have been on my mind which I know for a fact is a complete waste of time lol. But at least I can say I did it and move on. Life is too short and I say live it to the fullest. I know I do regaurdless and I won't stop.....never...lol. Im not hurting anyone by having fun etc. If I can share my fun I will.....well correction to a point. You get my drift.

Earlier today I got some fun news as Big Ed from the Evil Crew may have me and that's a 99.9% chance. ...do a pose down with John Heald on Bloggers cruise 5. John smoke me in the pose down. lol. That will be a lot of fun and I have already begun the countdown to seeing all my cruise buddies again. As I mentioned before I have several cruises lined up later in the year. I still am debating on a themed Elvis cruise in January on the Fascination. Its all of my cruising friends fault. They made me do it or the cruise devil in my head does. Hopefully If I keep the pace up I will hit milestone sooner than I thought.

time to pump up. Thinking about heading to Tampa this weekend for a last minute gateway and to support my sisters and brothers at the Tampa Pro. Its gonna be big ;)

I had a great time today but tomorrow or a few hours from now I will be back to my intense training. Im sure the people will be sick of seeing me as im going to bd there a lot again. I take my stuff seriously you know and my body responds well to it. The same thing with certain foods as some give me great benefits. Tomorrow i get to train my friends son again. Im going to be working with him a few times a week. Im excited about it as im training a future NFL star.

Next month im going to Chareston again to visit my friend. Its a always a pleasure.

A group of people invited me to Show.Me'S. I had fun and all eyes on me when I walked in. I was flatered as i got nice compliments. the food was goood. huge chicken breast portions. I had fun and woukd go again. I put my dollar on the wall under Hulk Hogans lol

I started my day with a stop at the Corner Grind. Located in downtown Corner Grind is a very laid back atmosphere that serves great coffee, smoothies, and homemade pastries. For me they do my shakes just right. I like to sit outside and blog or read the news. Sounds like fun lol.

A few more days till the Tampa Pro. Another exciting show for the pro fbb who are wanting to qualify for the O. I expect Tampa and Hartford to be a good amount of competitors due to its the only 2 shows left to qualify. Good luck to you all. May the best pysique win. Brigita was victorious in Toronto and I see a second win here. I have the pleasure of helping my friends son get conditioned for football. Im going to take him a few times to the rec center as he really likes the gym and pool. Next month I got invited ti go to a 3 day football camp. I get to i ncrease my knowledge in football.

Im enjoying the cool breeze today reminds me a little bit of the breeze on the cruise ships just not as strong to the point it knocks you down or you go bald lol. I saw a Meccum transporter today and I would love to know what cars were being transported. Meccum is a famous car auction known for exotics,customs muscle cars etc.

Well one of my favorite Alicia Keys songs just popped up on the radio and then I get this FB message that really brightened my day as well as the song. I thought I would share the wealth. So my TH fire fighter friend told me her son wrote about me in school for his new years resolution. I know its half way through the year but she just sent this to me today and I wanted to share as it put a HUGE smile on my face among other things. Ladies and Gentlemen this is why I "bodybuild" and will continue to do so till I can't no more. Here is what he said. It's soooooooooo precious

~ My New Years resolution is to work out with a female body builder. I want to work out with her because I like to be healthy and fit. She can train me to be faster and stronger. She has been in a lot of compitishins;) and won a lot of them. She could take me to one of them.

Got to love the "compitishins" part lol. He is I think 11 or 12 years old ..maybe younger, and has the best set of abs I ever seen. He puts little Hercules to shame. I asked his mom if I could take with me to the Fort Wayne show or he can join me and my sister for the Indiana State.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there. Its storming here and hopefully it will pass. I am grocery shopping in this weather when my happy little self should be in bed sleeping and out of this gloomy weather. But I want to go train and do my shopping. When I was in the egg section a gentlemen bent over to grab a pack of eggs in front of me. The next thing I see is his crack and his hairy butt. Hes talking on the phone at the same tine saying "I just found a broke egg" well by golly mister I just found he kingdom of hairy butt cracks. I immediately walked away avoiding any eye contact with the man as I needed eggs but not that bad.

I'm itching to go to the Indianapolis Zoo I havent been in a long time and I love animals. Speaking of which I saw for the first time ever my very firat chipmunk as I was waiting for my friend at ISU. I thought it was a baby squirrel and then I looked closer and saw the markings on its back. It was too fast for me as I was trying to get a picture but it took off quick.

I didn't realize how much of an effect I have on people. In a goid way and yes unfortunately some bad which is a pity. The bad of course I ignore as I like being drama free and the good always amazes me. When I touch a persons life through my kindness, love and of course the fitness side, it means so much to me more than anyone knows. On top of that no matter how bad someone may treat me I still will smile and be sweet as that is the way I was raised. Now other people I ignore and run away lol....trust me I can tell you stories.

I really really want to go to Cedar Point next month. I have to do millineum force and some other thrill rides. Another thing I want to do is that big burrito challenge in Las Vegas as I want a certified weenie shirt lol. I'm not a weenie of course but I was watching a old episode of Man vs Food and remembered it and I want it lol.

I'm writing this and listening to Enigma as it always creates a nice mood. It was a beautiful day today. I got up early (4:05 am) as I couldnt sleep...imagine that. I think too much haha. So I cleaned my house then got ready for an early am workout followed by another one late this aftetnoon. I trained back early this morning and then did hamstrings and a quick chest workout in the evening. It was a little bit of a brutal day. In the end I made it and stuck with it regaurdless of how crappy I felt.

Today and tomorrow Carnival Cruise Lines is hiring for a entertaiment host in Seattle and San Francisco and I would have been one of the many canidates. Remember me talking to you about a job. hint hint. Well I applied for the position as I enjoy entertaining people and theres nothing like putting a smile on someones face. When I cruise now a days I find myself saying hi to everyone and then wanting to help people by helping them get around the ship, explaining all the activities and selling them on cruising as I meet a lot of first timers. From the first moment I graced a cruise ship it was love at first site. Before this year is over I still have a couple of cruises to venture in Oct, Nov, and Dec. Yeah I know thats a lot for the average person lol. I'm far from being the average person and try my best not to be as I find it to be boring.. LOL. Cruising has changed me as a person like bodybuilding has done. Going back to the job, I have a lot of experience in this type of industry and felt like a strong canidate for the position due to my personality, professionalism, and lets not forget my fun side. After a lot of hard work with the company and time I dreamed of a shot as a cruise director assistant then a CD. Thats a dream come true and its not easy to attain. During the day of interviewing its a all day thing followed by the one on one interview. If you are successful then you would be headed to thier University on one of the cruise ships. Its a long hiring process. This type of job is not for everyone as you are gone months at a time. Now I have done a lot of thinking with this over the last two months. I dont have the heart for to leave the animals. Its good money and all but when you love something so much those things dont mean anything. I love them all so much as they are the sweetest little creatures. It was hard to pass this as its a great opportjnity but in the end I know I made the right decision.

I'm very excited as very soon I'm going to see U2 in concert. My ticket is general admission which means I will be in the pit near the stage (standing). I have always wanted to try the GA just havent had the patience for it and now I do. Im going to take my sister with me and she is not a U2 fan but I will convert her. I think she will have fun as all U2 concerts are great set ups.

Training is good as I temporarly packed on a few pounds so I could lift a little heavier but now ifs time to step back on the plate. I have deprived myself for so long I needed a short break. Im excited about my new nutrition and training regimen. Its all about progress progress progress. For the next 3 weeks we have Pro shows back to back in Toronto, Tampa and Hartford and thats it for the female bb shows to qualify for the Olympia. I am still bummed about FIBO but it is what it is. I would have looked AWESOME and really would have made a BIG impact. oh well....One of the nice things about being a national level competitor you dont have to worry about your show being canceled lol. Everything is always a go. It still is disappointing but this is part of it. I noticed since I have been posting pictures my blog count has shot up with an increase amount of readers. So I want to take a moment and say thank you. ;)

The other day I signed up with the Red Cross of Terre Haute which covers 8 counties. I also signed up to be a part of the disater team locally and nationally (like huricane katrina). I'm excited about it as I it really changes a person. I wss inspired by my friend Mike who I met on a cruise. Mike and his wife have been with the Red Cross for years and I have always wanted to be a pat of it. Thanks Mike! I know I will be at one of the local events National Night Out making sure people are hydrated. Its usually a very hot day the day its held. Its endless all the things the Red Cross does.

If your local and have a truck or small suv for sale shoot me a line as I am looking for one. Im getting rid of my car soon and the car im going to get will not be driven in the winter so thats what the truck is for. At least I can proudly say if I get a older truck then I can work on it myself as I know how to change oil and belts etc. I just need to have the tools lol. I owe myself a nice birthday present and its gonna be sweet.

Now if only I could finally break the ice but it will never happen. oh yeah I had a yummy omelette yesterday omg ;)

Let me say that I have been an athlete since I came out of my mommas womb. I have played a lot of sports through the years and of course the bodybuilding one grew on me ..literally. If I'm not bodybuilding, I'm jumping out of planes or fighting great whites...you get my drift. I am always up for a challenge and love the mental discipline side of it. I'm looking forward to what lies ahead for me. I saw a sign today when I was driving back home from Sams and it said "what you believe is what you achieve". Very true indeed. I always believe that you can do anything you put your mind to if you believe in yourself 100%

I can't express how awarding these last few weeks have been for me. It gets better from here..I HOPE :) BRACCCCCCE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!! I can't wait till this weekend I get to eat a little bad :)

My legs are killing me literally. I guess it's from yesterdays leg workout or wearing heels a few days ago. It's that feeling of restlessness. I can't stand it to tell you the truth. The gym thinks it can conquer me, but the shoe is on the other end of the foot. I come in and conquer it no matter how hard I am pushed, no matter how much pain I endure, no matter how much sweat and tears I let go. I keep on pushing and moving forward. No matter how hard I fall I get back up and keep hitting it hard. Whew..I think I said a mouthful.

I'm not getting ready for any contest any time soon as I have a long way before the AHHnold (if I get an invitation that is) but as I mentioned in a previous blog, this is my leanest I have ever been for a offseason. I always like to try and do new things and this is one of them. I had a nice compliment today about how fit I look and people of course making the acknowledgement that I have lost weight (which is nice).One more day till my sister is in town as she wants to see me in a suit. :) I told her to get a blind fold and brace yourself LOL....
Big thanks to Verizon for helping me with great customer service today with my number. THANK YOU!!! I was told earlier this evening I was too happy for 7 pm at night lol. That's just who I am.

The other night I went out for a chicken salad and was so tired I caught myself a few times dozing off as I was taking bites ha ha. I remember one of my friends fell asleep while they were eating thier food at Dennys a few days before USAs. Speaking of which, I MAY be at USAs next month. That will be fun as we have some Indiana Hoosiers competing. NO Hangover moments for me though. Its off subject, but if you want something funny and educational to watch check out "Only in America" with Larry the Cable Guy. It is hilarious. I just love Larry. He's so funny, and he's a Florida guy woo hoo. I just love my redneck boys :)

The Strawberry Festival will be here once again in Terre Haute this Thursday downtown. Yummy Yummy strawberry shortcake with ice cream. I will pass and just take the strawberries. Its for a great cause. Hope to see you there. :)

How cool would be to see your Hoosier IFBB Pro Isabelle Turell have Adam Richman as my coach in a food challenge. I am looking at some food challenges in Indianapolis, and Bloomington, Indiana. We will see. I do know there is a mini burger joint in Brazil, IN which is close by that has a food challenge where you have to eat a ton of mini sliders and you win $500 bucks.The food challenge needs to be unique and one of a kind. I may be a girl but I too can throw down some food and I know I can beat a good food challenge. I got the stomach for it. :)

Good Morning and HAPPY Monday !!!!!!!!!!

It was a great day on Saturday as once again the NPC Indianapolis was a huge success. Congrats to Arron Dixon on his big Mr. Indianapolis win. I had such a great time and got a few unexpected surprises that was nice in the mix and put a smile on my face. I'm thankful

At the evening show we got to meet a former Mr. Indianapolis's from the 50's, who came on stage and aggressively grabbed the mic(which was funny) and told us a thing or two about the great bodybuilders of Indiana. He was a pretty cool guy and I ran up to him and chatted with him for a bit as I am ALWAYS inspired by people like him as well as some other close people I know. To know their story and how it was training back then is incredible. I'm old school and like the old school way instead of the new age way lol you know with all these machines for this and that. Give me a pair of dumbbells and a weight bench any day. Earlier in the day after prejudge I had my big cooler and went with the gang to Steak and Shake. There I was stuffing my face with homemade turkey patties wrapped in lettuce while everyone else was eating steak burgers and chicken salads. In the back of my mind all I could think about was grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm a sucker for grilled cheese heavy on

the cheese (make a note of that :)) Oh well.....soon I can have a grilled cheese

Big Thanks to Tim Mobley and Betina who once again did a awesome job putting on a great show. So many competitors to judge and every one of them with the exception of a few who could have really come more prepared to the show like Steven Segals long lost brother Phil. *wink. Which I have to also say please don't wear those posing trunks again, as we don't want to see the cash and prizes as it was very noticeable.

Here something that again people will think is good for them. As you notice in the picture it shows the BabyRuth claim that 2 pieces equals 4 grams of protein. Do you know how many people would actually probably think that this is good for them and consume ..maybe 3-4 in one setting. What ever can we do about this misleading food labels

Lastly, this is the lightest offseason I have ever had and I am happy with that. So how many weeks till the AHHHnold again :). I'm at a very good point right now where I'm doing things a little differently from what I normally do in a off season. Its a good thing that's for sure. I am healthy and fit and feel grrrrreat.

I was thinking about doing a quick getaway cruise after the Fort Wayne show out of Miami. But I really would like to continue to diet as I'm going to try and see if I can guest pose at the Indiana State which I would really love to do. Of course I already have a few cruises lined up later this year and I can wait till then as I always love seeing my friend. She is funny. Finally my airbrush tattoo is fading.

As a tradition to celebrate the long holiday weekend, I'm sure a lot of you will be chowing down on cheeseburgers, hot dogs, potato salad and whatever else rocks your boat. As for me well I will just enjoy a turkey breast burger with romaine lettuce as my buns...doesn't that just make your mouth melt. :) It sure does mine lol. The main gym is closed for the whole weekend. I think even Monday. Lucky for me I have a 24 hour Anytime Fitness pass. Should be a nice weekend especially in Indy. We got the big parade today in Indy and you know who is trying to get in with all these people. I have a lot of practicing to do this weekend. Since now FIBO now is canceled it opens the door for me to do other things. I will let you all know that in do time. I am still going to be training intense as I may put in for a invite to the ahhhhnold :). Now that would be a great comeback of comebacks. Dont you think....I know I do

We have the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers, and then one of the most prized events ever with so much history the one and only the Indy 500. I'm sure you have seen a few limited edition orange Camaros with the Indy 500 on them. :) Here in town I've seen a white convertible Camaro pace car driving around :) If your in Indianapolis be sure to check out the festivities before the big race on Sunday.

It's going to be hot next week and I have been wanting to go swimming and get some sun. One of the things I love about cruising lots of water and sun.. I am curious about where are the best swimming pools to go are in Terre Haute as my place has a decent pool but its not big enough as the pool gets packed. Theres ISU
pool (indoor) which is nice cause they also have jacuzzis :) I'm thinking of going in there today actually. I want an outside pool where I can get sun too. Picky aren't I lol. We have the little fair in town at the park called Banks of the Wabash. Fair food is so healthy and so nutritious for your buns. I remember going to Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. Thats right Santa Claus (the city) Indiana. In Florida we have Christmas, FL where its Christmas 365 days a year. In Santa Claus its themed all Santa Claus stuff. So get your camera out. Holiday World has this ride which you see at fairs called the scrambler hence the name. I went on and half way through the ride......I was done. Consider me scrambled as it scrambles your brain and body. I was done for the rest of the day. It was aweful and I can't stand that ride lol.

Enough of me rambling let me get to what I really want to say here. I have some bad news. FIBO has been officially canceled. If you recall this is the show I was going to make my comeback. So now the only shows for the rest of the year are 3 which are all a week after eachother in June. Toronto, Tampa, and Hartford. Goodness!!!! Here is my take on that. As I have mentioned many times before we can't control what happens. I guess some may expect me to be upset?? Nah, no reason to be as it's not the end the world. I have been working very hard and will continue to do so in the gym. This little thing isn't going to rain on my parade. I will continue to stay in shape as I really like where I am at right now and it keeps getting better. Its the lightest I have been in a long time for a offseason. I might as well tell you I'm 135lbs right now......... Goodness I better not say that as some of you will believe it. ha ha. You know me, I just keep moving forward and training on, and staying in good shape. I'm getting a vision....Fat Tuesdays, Flip Flops, beaches, and sushi :) soon for me :)

Next Friday and Sunday I'll be volunteering at the Special Olympics here in Terre Haute. That Saturday we have our big Indianapolis show which I will be one of the many judges. It will be a long day Saturday due to the number of competitors we will have at the show. Should be fun. My sister will be in town the following week and hopefully we can get her down here again in July for the Indianapolis State show. She loves the shows and loves seeing the people pose. I thought about dragging her on stage with me lol or I may just come down and embarrass her. Doing my ghetto robot dance which is a really really really bad robot dance impression.

Later today will be a fun day as I got invited to go to a football and you know how I feel about that. Its a pretty big game as its the rival high schools battling it out. I think its the freshmen football team playing. It will be fun regardless, hopefully the weather will play nicely today.

I trained yesterday and ended it early as I was starving and needed to take a nap. I did do 315 deadlifting again a day ago and that was a piece of cake still for me at this state that I am at. I may try to do it it again later today. Just have to go by how I feel.

Last night I decided to take myself out for dinner as I was yearning for a juicy steak. I was going to go to J. Fords Black Angus but decided to go to a place I was very familiar with....Outback. LOL. I had a nice meal and it's funny as the waitresses knew me from previous times I have been there and some of them came up to me and introduced themselves. They were wondering why I was in a hurry this time as I usually take my time eating haha. Well I'm not ordering half the stuff I usually order either lol. When I got up to use the ladies room I noticed as well as everyone else in the restaurant it was storming very bad outside. I was wondering why the lights kept flicking. The one waitress told me this used to be a bank and they have a basement etc. So we would be safe just in case. For the time being I was stuck in the Outback. So there I was sipping my unsweet tea and surfing Ebay and face booking. Finally the storm calmed down a little and it was my chance to get out.

Later when I got to the movie theater it was easy getting a good seat as I arrived early. Dead center in the middle. They had two theaters set up for the showing. I can't even imagine the other theater but in the one I was in there were very few ladies and tons of males on top of that they were country boys as the majority all knew each other in the theater and some of the time they were tossing dip to each other across the theater. Then I had some guys sitting next to me wearing all camo hats lol. It was a young crowd and boy this crowd was funny. Okay now I'm going to give you my take on the movie. The Hangover 2 did go a little farther out there with the last one with certain scenes and you will understand what I mean by that when you see it. its things that back in my time were not allowed to be on movie scene. SO be prepared to watch a lot of weenis moments lol. Now I have to say being that I must have watched the original Hangover so many times that movie I will never get tired of. This on the other hand I was not impressed at all. It has a good amount of funny moments and of course again the RE-TARD or better known as Alan is always the fun one to watch as well as the china man Mr. Chow and this time Stu is a freaking riot. My ultimate favorite character is the little monkey with his Rolling Stone jacket who likes to smoke cigarettes, likes weenis, and is a drug dealer lol. I love him as he is too cute and now I want one minus the bad stuff. LOL. Part 2 is not as funny as the first one.

This isn't the best but since its been a while since I posted something why not show a picture right now from my off season progress. I needed a broom to sweep out my garage and went to Menards (which is like Lowes and Home Depot), well I had some interesting things happen. I was walking in the store and this gentlemen walks up next to me and ask " are you a bodybuilder?". I said yes I am and then he goes on saying you don't look like those girls on tv and then went on saying I was pretty etc. I didn't know how to take that but it was positive. Then I had a couple come up to me in the store saying how they saw me and were trying to find me so they can talk to me. They gave me some nice compliments as well and the husband asked me if I was a gladiator like American Gladiators lol. They were very nice people. It always is nice when someone who isn't in the sport acknowledges you for your hard work. I on the other hand to this day don't see what other people see and I'm very shy not to mention very humble. But I do have my fun loving quick wit sense of humor that I love.

I am excited about this evening as I am going to see the hangover 2 tonight at 12:01 am ..woohoo. I'm expecting it to be very good. School is almost out and I'm sure a lot of you are excited. I won't be excited as I'm sure I will be seeing some of these kids on a cruise this summer when I'm on the Destiny. Now when I go back on her in the fall it won't be too bad with kids. "I hope" :)

I got my serious game face on and I am ready for some lifting action.

It was nice at the gym on Saturday as no one was there.......LOL. I can train at my speed and zip around to the equipment. Plus I can dance around and be silly. :) Here is a picture of part of the gym and as you can see its soooo busy. :)

It was an exhausting and sweaty workout but I got it done regardless of how I felt and there are times that I just want to drop down on the floor and lay there looking at the ceiling. I can't do that as I know what lies ahead of me at the end of the tunnel.

I went to the movies this weekend to check out the New Pirates movie. It was awwwwesome and I highly recommend for the family. People were getting nutty in the theater about finding a seat. My entertainment during the movie was a older lady sitting next to me who talked through the entire movie with her husband as he was quiet LOL. I see who wears the pants here. She was funny and jumped during some of the moments in the movie and would randomly say silly things. I can't wait till the 26th as that's when the hangover comes out and you can be assured I will be there for the first showing. I'm really curious about this one. I think we all can agree the first one was fabulous.

I have been keeping myself busy busy. last week for the first time in a while I ran a mile and headed over to a local restaurant "well known" in downtown TH. I always wanted to go here but never had the time. So a friend of mine went with me for lunch after our run. As soon as we walked in we are waiting to be seated and we waited for a good while. The waitress sees us standing there and says nothing and then finally the girl says "can I help you" in a really snotty tone. That was strike number one. Then I said well we would like to sit down, eat, and get something to drink. I mean seriously why else really would I be there for??? Just to stand there and look pretty. Talk about superior service. So when I say what I want she then says we can sit at the bar. I guess she assumes I want to eat and drink drink. Ummmm are you kidding me lady. She was just plain nasty as could be. Strike number two. The place only had two tables with people and the rest was open. At this point I was already very disappointed in this place and can assure you I will never be back there again. Then the bar tender comes up and she says can I help you. I told her about the girl and how we wanted to sit at a table. She seemed a little nicer than the other girl. I told my friend I don't want to eat here as it put a sour taste in my mouth. She had water and I had a tea and we just payed $1.20 and made our way to Fitness Experts to have a protein shake. I have to admit when I got to the gym I had so much more fun there talking with my friend and one of the head trainers . It was great. I guess this happened for a reason. One of the head trainers is into marathons and guess who is thinking of trying a marathon in TH. ......ME. I am going to look at the calender on the runners association website for TH and see whats available. This week I will be doing power yoga. Should be interesting. I know that coming up next month I will be volunteering with the Special Olympics in Terre Haute. it is June 3-5th. I can't do the 4th as that is our Indianapolis show. But as long as I am there on the other days that will be fine. Indy 500 will be here before we know it too. I see that the Chevy dealers are really trying to push the replica Indy pacer cars around the state of Indiana and other places as well. I only know that as I have been Camaro researching. I'm being smart, and doing my homework.

You had me at Hello........that is the first thing that popped in my mind as woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face. That only lasted a minute as I had to get my serious game face on and go to the gym and do a thing or two. Oh its not over yet. I have a long day ahead of me. Especially this afternoon and not to mention later the ambulance this evening if all goes as planned. The Track meet was great my friends son is going to Regionals next week in Evansville for disc throwing in track. I had a good time and its always a pleasure meeting people from all walks of life :) and other things. There are a few other events coming up such as a North vs South game and then soccer and my favorite football.

Going to have to make this short. But before I take off. I want to say "good luck" to the athletes competing at the Junior USAs this weekend.

Recently I have been hearing its end of the world as of this Saturday the 21st of May as it is 7,000 years later from the time of Noah and the ark. I have srrn some people going bonkers. I just found this out yesterday. Lets see todays Thursday which leaves me to do everything on my bucket list in 2 days LOL! !!!! Nothing is going to happen people so "CALM DOWN"......seriously. Some people with thier hype and drama trying to fill the minds of others with thier hoopla. Anyway there's your conversation over dinner tonight. l better get working on my list *wink *wink. I'm sure I will get some hate mail for this lol

I always love clowning around and love making jokes. There's nothing wrong with that. Some people think I should be a tight butt and not joke at all. Ummmm sorry to bust your bubble but that's not going to happen...no way. I say this as yesterday I ran across a few sour grapes. Holy smokes....Don't get me wrong we all have our days and nobody can always be peachy but some people really need to lighten up ..just a little. I was in the supermarket (I won't say where but I'm sure you can guess) and of course I said "Hi, how you doing?" boy..they must have had a bad day as I didn't get a response. So I said it again and again I didn't get response. Finally I just came out and said I was a secret shopper, etc and then there personality changed..LOL. It's not like I was bulging out of my clothes. Some people. As a customer you expect good service not someone whos behind the register having a bad day taking it out on everyone that comes through. oh well.

Tomorrow will be fun as I am going to another track meet at the local high school in town to see my friends son compete. This boy is only 14 and is HUGE. He is a freshman and plays football too. I hope in the future he gets scholarship to Alabama. I had fun at the last two track meets, and finally met the reporter that did a small story on me for the local newspaper in town. Very nice guy ad he used to be a big time powerlifter. Cool guy and boy he can talk your ear off :). I always love hearing stories about stuff.

Funny story for today. A while back I took my grandma and family out to eat at a high end Chinese restaurant. It was a great time. Well anyway, my sister is a clown and btw she will be coming up to Indianapolis next month to see her sissy on stage. I wanted to get my grandmother to come and she really wants to but her back is really killing her and I don't want her walking around. She refuses a wheelchair and I don't blame her but I consider it more of a comfort for her so she doesn't walk around. Anyway..sissy will be there with me. SO going back to my story, the Asian waitress brings out everyone's food and my sister says "muchas gracias" and then I laugh as the waitress was oriental. My sister is as funny and a riot. So anyway my grandmother comes out ..bless her heart lol...and sys to the lady "are you Spanish?' So then I'm sorry but I busted out laughing to the point where I was crying. hahahaha. The lady then replies "do I look Spanish?" and grams says no and then said" I thought I heard you speaking Spanish". That lady got upset lol. Then my grandmother took the remainder of everyone's food to go. The lady then quickly said I will pack it up for you. See I'm not a fool and I didn't want that lady packing my food after the Spanish incident. SO I told my grandmother after she walked away "look out that lady is going to put some stuff in your food that's going to have you all pooping all over the place". then I started laughing as my grandmother was like no she wouldn't do that LOL....that's what she thinks. Anyway that's my funny story of the day.

I was sitting in my car getting ready to step out to go and train and then I turn to my right and noticed this little guy on my car thingy. I sloooooowly got my camera out to take a picture. I thought it was the cutest thing and brought back a memory to me. A while back ago on one of the cruise ships I think it was Carnival Freedom or maybe it was the Dream. Heck it was on a ship lol. Anyway, it was a fantastic voyage and I always have fun. So there I was out getting sun and wanted to cool off in the outside showers, I noticed this a little tiny bird flying around and hiding on the deck he was hoping around and looked exhausted. Of course I was worried about the little guy and tried to catch him to save him from any harm. I know people thought I was nuts trying to save this bird but he was so tiny and fragile. I think I got my towel and finally caught him. He was so sweet. I called for someone to come and see he gets taken care of and I am sure like someone told me a few times they released him when i wasn't looking lol. Later that day I saw the bird flying again LOL so go figure. Well this little fella reminded me of that moment and maybe it was him saying hi. :) He was sitting there for a good while and then he flew off. I got my stuff and turned around to get out again and sure enough he was on the car again except closer on the driver window and I jumped as he scared me as I wasn't expecting that and then he flew away and I never saw him again. If you could see me right now I have a huge smile on my face and its due to my weekend. It was full of surprises and happy endings well let me change that to happy beginnings. I'm blessed and thankful.

Getting my dose of David Guetta this morning as I blog here for a few quick minutes and yes I will be back later this morning/afternoon with more :).

I want to send a HUGE "THANK YOU"to the Indianapolis EMS and the Indianapolis Fire Department for welcoming me over and making me feel at home in your house *smile. I met so many wonderful people who were down to earth and very cool. I'm still glowing from meeting them. I also want to thank a particular person (you know who you are), keyword....OVERWHELMING. lol. Al I can say is well....I'm actually still speechless for words can't even express it. We had a few runs and one was pretty funny but also on edge as you never know what to expect when you arrive on the scene. You have to ALWAYS be on guard. I will say what I learned in school with EMT and then what you see on the field is totally different. I highly agree with my friend that the best way to learn is hands on experience when you are out in the field. I will go more into that later. I didn't didn't get home till a little after 10:30am the next day I needed to go shopping before I went home at Wally World. You know my friend was telling me how they worked only 9 days out of the month. That's a great deal if you ask me especially with if I recall this right a kelly day. I'm sure I will be corrected. *waving
I look forward to many more runs and adventures..........

Before I forget my overwhelming friend also has a Bengal mix. I thought that was neato. Its white with the markings....looks cool and its a girl. Gizmo(leo) needs to make his moves. I've been trying to get my Bengal accustomed to the name Gizmo as this was my first pick of a name. I like this a lot more and its him all the way. He responds to it, and then again he does his own thing anyway. He is KING here and spoiled rotten. Which I end this blog with Gizmo(leo) and Pookie Mouse. I thought this was the sweetest thing. They are the best of friends and who would think lol. Here they are cuddling and sleeping

I couldn't post a blog yesterday as Blogger was updating a few things. I have a long day ahead of me. I was up this EARLY this morning hitting the gym at Anytime Fitness. Had a good workout. I am very happy with were I am at this point being 20 weeks out from FIBO. Again that's unofficial. wink wink. I have to go to the gym again later and then this evening I will be on the ambulance with Indianapolis EMS (IEMS) till around 7 am Sunday morning. I'm going to be doing this a few times out of the month. Keeping me busy and pumping my neurons. I think a lot ha ha. Especially about things I shouldn't be thinking about but I can't help it ....Should be a lot of excitement since where I am based is a busy area and is also known for its high crime rate. I'm sure I will crash and burn when everything is over. I'm going to see if I can sneak a long nap in and a few pics. I need my Sponge Bob sleeping bag LOL. .

Sometime this weekend I will also be posting my Fantasy review which is long long long overdue. I'm excited about the summer as I will be taking my sister on the Destiny for her vacation. I have been wanting Erica to meet my BFF on the ship. . I can only take her for a few days as she has a busy summer planned. I'm goign to take her to the Grand Cayman to experience the sting rays. I loved it when I did it. I plan to go back to Grand Cayman after summer when all the kids are in school. No offense, but the parents understand. :) We will talk cruise talk later as I may have a interview as well in late June. Great opportunity, but need to sit on it LOL. I will keep you posted

My god daughter did great in her track meet and their school took first place ..Yeah!!!!So proud of her and her fellow teammates. Great kids. I had a nice time the other day and its always a pleasure.*BIG smile.....

Oh yes its that time again

It's nice when you wake up and you have a huge smile on your face, grining from ear to ear. I love it and its a great way to start my morning.

Yesterday was hot and its about time we finally get some warm weather over here. I love the summer time. It sure isn't like Florida summer and "I count my lucky stars" that it isn't the dry heat like Vegas as I won't do that again LOL. Did you know that Indiana actually has a beach? I didn't know it either till I found out there "beach" is on a lake ha ha. Summer time is one of my favorites as I love swimming and playing in the water in my case a pool here and not the beach. You WILL NOT catch me swimming in a lake. I'm a water baby and there's something about it that makes me go goo goo ga ga. I enjoy laying out and catching sun and this is a thing I love to do on the sea days on the ship. I will say catching sun here versus on the beach and on the ship is a big difference and certainly not the same. I got it down now to where I don't burn woo hoo. Another great thing is ice cream and flavored shaved ice. In my case at the moment, I can't have either. Well...I can have shaved ice but what the fun in it when its just water and no flavor..I have done this before actually with crystal light. That was super duper. I don't know why but when I diet I do crave ice. Is that weird or what or is it just me.

As much as I would love to take a day off today. I'm going to see if I can wear a tank top in my gym here (as they don't allow it for hygiene reasons), but I see girls and guys wear them all the time. I stick out a little more then they do though. I posed for half an hour yesterday and noticed my body has changed again. Well I still have 20+ weeks to go from FIBO. At this rate I WILL have a very conditioned body. Remember my BIll Dobbins photos lets just say by the time I hit FIBO I will be very SPOT ON more so than I EVER have been ...EVER. I'm really excited to tell you the truth. As long as I get my "treats" in there somewhere I am good. I love a fat juicy steak with the extra trimmings. Another cruise will do though as I can eat, train, layout, swim, repeat. :)

The track meet was good, HOT as I should have wore something cooler. Now that my metabolism is kicking in I am starting to sweat a lot more than usual. Its a good thing, but not when its pouring lol. My friends daughter competed in hurdle jump yesterday and she did good but would of did better if her competition didn't trip her. Well she is on fire and is going to be competing again today and she is going to take no prisoners. Other than that seeing the kids compete reminds me of my sports days as I was into everything. I just love competitive side of sports. Now I play fair unlike certain Laker players *cough* cough*. That guy got what he deserved and honestly he should of got more that 5 game suspension. He could have really injured that Maverick player. I can't stand bad sportsmanship. No reason to bitter cause the other person scored and made you look bad, or whatever. Two Words..GROW UP!!!!!!!!! Hopefully it won't be too hot like yesterday and this time I will dress a little cooler for the meet. Yes, I had a good time its was just hot and then a few other things added to the mix. I just love going to the games especially the football ones. Next week starts soccer and I am excited about that. That's my forte. Sign me up. :)

I'm going to be riding in the ambulance in Indianapolis and I am looking forward to that. I need to buy a stethoscope and I have been looking at a particular Littman model which a "good" stethoscope is going to cost you a hefty penny. Then you do have those more affordable ones that will cost you around 40 bucks and are just as good. Decisions ..decisions..

My legs are sore!! I didn't really do anything yesterday besides sweating my buns off. By the time I left the gym it looked like I had an accident on my pants. LOL. I'm going to keep myself from checking my weight for the next few days. We will see how long that will last. I feel good,well not really. My jeans I bought a while back from Buckle keep falling off, and to tell you the truth I don't care for those jeans. Maybe its a sign I need to get rid of them. I don't like the way they look on me. The only thing I like is the bling and design on the back pockets of the jeans. To me they are just too bulky and take away the curves. Oh well, LOL...

I need to train shoulders and do cardio here in a little bit. How exciting. I may hot up some back in the mix too. I got invited to watch my friends daughter compete at a track meet this afternoon at the high school here in town. Should be fun. The last time I saw her daughter compete a few weeks ago and I just wanted to join in compete myself. I love competition. Just let me have a powergel before hand and then its game on.

You know for the first time I noticed Bunny my bulldog hops like an actual bunny. I never really noticed it till yesterday when we were playing outside. How cute she is hoping through the grass. theres no way I can record her but I will try. She hates cameras and runs away from them.

Bloggers Cruise 5 is March 4th the Sunday after the Ahhhhnold Classic sailing out of Galveston on the Carnival Magic. Should be lots of fun fun fun!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm certainly not talking about me lol. But this little sweetie pie. Isn't she just the cutest little thing.

I got poked at a few times yesterday as my weight has dropped and people aren't used to it. I guess they are used to me being filled out. I enjoy training and dieting. (lol on the dieting). I actually forgot how much fun it is really. ha ha. I won't give you my exact numbers but I'm under 170 lbs right now. I have the honor of guest posing soon and then after that I have a few months before my unofficial contest FIBO in Chicago. Yes, its still unofficial, but would be a nice way for me to end the year with competition season. If I land this job I have my eyes on, it can change things which is why its unofficial as I don't know how my schedule is going to be. The important thing is I need to do whats best for me and be in my best interest.

Random thought: You ever just want to go up to someone and give them a hug? well I do :)

Here is a more serious look which suits my Monday mojo.Its more of a "oh no here we go again *sigh*". Your not the one doing the training and screaming bloody murder lol. You dont want to be in my shoes I promise you.

l Need to run to the gym. gee imagine that. The gym is my first home and thats a true fact. Ask the people in the gym and they will tell you. I had one trainer a while back tell me " your back again?". He was shocked I guess but he doesn't have a clue to what discipline it takes and some of the routines we do (cardio, weight training, etc.) to achieve the look we are aiming for. Which leads me to sweet and touching story. I spoke to a friend of mine from years ago and they knew of me before I made the bodybuilding transition. We talked about fitness and then out of no where they wanted to apologize to me for thier behavior from years ago on when I was getting into fitness. I honestly forgot about all that past stuff. Plus I can forget a couple things once in a while especially while low carbing *LOL*. Anyway, my old friend then went on telling me how proud they were of what I accomplished. I am still speechess and in complete and utter shock as that was unexpected and who would ever think in a million years. It made me a little emotional as it was touching to me. I never heard from them again since. Regardless, it was a very touching and a kind thought.

I wish all the mommies out there a happy mothers day. I remember when I was younger, I had an kitchen and everything to play with. I loved it so much. It was mothers day and I wanted to make my grandmother dinner. I made Belles special meatloaf. it was special alright. Let's just say it was a very raw meatloaf with a kids imagination put to it. My grandmother took the meatloaf and had this huge smile on her face. Now that I'm older she probably was making fun of me and wondering if her meatloaf was alive lol.

Yes, I took my photo in the gym lol. Since I have a camcorder I thought I would start taking video of training again. I know many of you would like that a lot. But I haven't done it yet so don't get all excited on me. I miss my training videos too. I like to make fun of myself. I had a great workout today but very exhausting. This is part of the lifestyle of being a bodybuilder taking in the pain, exhaustion, and then still pushing it full force no matter how I feel. That was more than a mouthful and it made me tired just saying it. LOL. I use my mental focus to drive the muscles to the ground when I'm "in the zone".

All week long I have had people stop me taking photos with me and older people congratulating me on my hard work. Not to mention I had a young girl come up to me asking me about food choices and training, she was only 14. Very sweet girl. I met so many wonderful people on the ship. if you haven't already noticed I do have a fever for cruising and travel. Since I was a teenager I had always been surrounded by tourism and travel....you know being from Orlando helps. There is never a dull moment for me....ever. I have fun regardless and make the best of everything. You already know that so I don't have to tell you. I must admit I was indeed meant to be an athlete and fit. There's no doubt about that. I feel right now my body is changing. I remember Bill Dobbins telling me my body has a long way to go till the muscles mature. So right now or for the past years I have had immature muscles lol. I'm noticing some good changes ..at least I think they are unless my mind is playing games on me. I didn't want to announce but I know some of you feel that that I may be done competing and that I have throw in the rag. Not the case. Remember I'm an athlete and always been since birth. Its in my genetic makeup. I can't help it LOL. To get to my point I will compete as I got a fever and the only prescription is competing. ha ha.

THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL!!!!!! I have my eyes set on FIBO in Chicago. Knowing my last minute self depending on how things go I may jump into one of the shows in June. I will be guest posing in June in Indianapolis and also September in Lakeland, Florida. FIBO would be a very exciting show for me as with the rate I am going at now I will be in TOP or I should say my BEST condition ever with pretty lines and structure to match. I am 100% positive that their will be Olympia contenders there but hey that's what competing is ALL about :). To clarify again this is NOT OFFICIAL. What is holding me back from making it official is I MAY have a job offer and its one heck of a opportunity especially of this magnitude. Timing is everything. I can't say what yet but its a great thing and many of you would be very happy for me. Others will scratch their head and wonder why?? I DO believe things happen for a reasons and that some things in life ARE meant to be like me in the Athletic field. No matter how much I try to ease my way getting into something non fitness related, it always seems to find me LOL. On this recent venture it found me everywhere and because of it I MAY and that's a BIG MAY have a opportunity with this company. It will be a huge change for me. I still need to publish my review and I will get to that bear with me. Ciao

The Magic is setting sail today from Venice, Italy on her first cruise. This is a very big event that is going to go down in history. This is indeed by far Carnivals most luxurious ship. The decor is simply MARVELOUS....Here is a picture of Carnivals first cruise ship the Mardi Gras sailing next to the Magic. We have Number 1 next to Number 100 LOL. The Mardi Gras looks liek the tug boat for the Magic lol. My things have changed over the years. I know a few people who have been on the 1st boat and hearing the stories is amazing and I wish I could brag about being on the Mardi Gras. I can't even imagine what it was like on that ship.

Of course they have the best entertainers on the ship Senior Cruise Director John Heald leading the way. Here is a picture of John Heald and the CEO of Carnival Gerry Cahill. Mr Cahill is extremely a nice man and really goes out of his way for the guest and the employees. Super great guy and if you ever cruise On Carnival and get to meet him, its an honor. In the next few months till the end of October she will be in Europe with some very nice itineraries. Going from Barcelona and Venice. I truly wish I was setting sail on her today with the rest of my cruise friends. I will venture her in the future when we bring her over to the United States on the transatlantic cruise. Now there may be some good news for me coming....that's a huge maybe. We will see. I will keep you posted but its going to change a lot of things. Some pretty cool things on the magic is the new Sports Square, RedFrog Pub, Carnival Water Works (biggest water park on any cruise ship) and one of my favs Cloud 9 Spa, lastly Cucina del Captiano.
Okay I am not too crazy about it but here is a pizza combination they serve at the 24 our pizza joint on the ship

I don't know what could be more exciting getting stuck on a bus with 60-80 years olds for 5 hours (courtesy of my friend Dessi) talking about welfare, minimum wage, etc. or being the very last person to board minutes before departure off the island lol. You know me, Ms. excitement and full of adventure. I love to have fun and somehow I always manage to have something funny happen to me. I'm a fun magnet. I had a wonderful time and have lots of stories to share. Will kiss and tell later

I couldn't sleep a wink all night as I feel like it's Christmas morning and I'm ready to open my presents. *wink. I'm hanging out downtown And then I'm on my way to the port and looking very forward to my latest adventure. I'm the most luckiest girl in world right now and blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. One thing I tell people is a qoute "when life throws you lemons you make lemonade" ;) . I make lots of lemonade lol......Your bound to come across a sour lemon and thats when you just put some sugar on it and be sweet as u can be .

Okay enough jibber jabber, it's time for me to get ready and board as I'm people watching in the market and it's quite fun and hot!!! Yuk! I got my suit on and I'm easy to jump in the pool and freshen up :)

there's a bright day ahead of me

it's not too pretty in Terre Haute today very gloomy and just nasty out there. Im sitting here waiting on the bird to land so I can make my way to see my friend for the Easter holiday. Its the evening here and not too busy. I can't wait to see Dessi she's so funny and her accent reminds me of Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Isabelle is hurting today. My back is sore!!!! lol I was training yesterday and did an hour of intense aerobics which consist of some out there things on the cardio machines lol. then I go and do odds and ends stuff like calves abs etc. well yesterday I saw my friends deadlifting so of course I'm itching to join in even though I can't see straight, I'm dead tired and hungry. I had no energy left in me yesterday but I jumped in only for one set doing 315. I got out 11 reps that's good for being totally depleted lol. I promise to keep you updated all week with my trip. The bright side is I'm some place warm and sunny;)

A little bad, Big Blue and the Bestest

Lets get the bad news out of the way, shall we. Many of you have already heard and if not here it is. I got word from the press that the Phoenix Pro has been canceled. So that is that, and I am sure some of you can already feel my pain especially since we already lost the NY Pro earlier this year. Hang in there my fellow IFBB sisters of iron, where one door closes another opens. I still have a smile on face and no ones taking this away as all we can do is be positive :) SO I'm sending positive thoughts through your computer now :)

Now some good news for me.

I got a phone call from a very good friend of mine. It turns out I am going to be meeting John Parillo and heading over to Johns training facility with my two friends. How awesome is that. When I was doing the 2006 North American which is in Cleveland, I wanted to drive down to Cincinnati to see the facility etc, as I am a huge and have been a fan of Mr. Parillos training methods and of course his Cap-Tri. I had a few books on His training and yes the cookbook as he has some awesome sweet potato muffins as well as other yummy recipes. I can't express how excited I am about this. John is known for his training and is a genius when it comes to the physique. So excited to see what he creates or molds with mine. I am so thankful and most importantly very very grateful to my friends as they made that happen and I can't say enough how touched I was when I heard about it as you know me and how I am about things. I really am happy about the opportunity and looking very forward to this.

Right now I am on cloud 10 as the NFL schedule came out yesterday and I am stocked or for some of you exhilarated. Why because I am a Colts fan and football makes me happy. I'm excited about the season this year and praying for a hail Mary that our boys in BLUE will make HISTORY by being the first NFL team to play in the Superbowl where the team is actually from. I hope that made sense LOL. Indianapolis is COLTS country and Indianapolis is also the Host of this years Superbowl. Speaking of which I am already signed up to volunteer for this event. BUT....if we get into the Superbowl and YES WE WILL then that will change things as I am going to be in a seat somewhere in there LOL. I just realized this weekend is Easter. Just goes to show you hwo much I pay attention to Holidays except for Xmas, Halloween and my B-day of course. I'm doing something diffrent this year by going and spending some time with my friend for a few days instead. I always believe you got to try new things and live new adventures. SO I am :) It should be fun and I will take pictures :)

I am happy as the training is going nice and My weight has significally dropped down which is good good good. Well need to go to the gym now and get it on

One of the many people on my list to meet in life is Stan Lee. He's a genuis and of course being the comic book fan especially Marvel I had to see Spiderman in the Dark. Spiderman Turn Off the Dark is one of the most expensive boardway shows ever put together. Your looking roughly at a cool 70 million dollars invested into the web slinger spidey. I really liked the fact that U2's Bono and the Edge

I think the one person who really made the show is the goblin. The actor really fit that role so well and hes the guy I'd want to hang out with as hes just plain old bad lol

Chicago firefighter Tammy Rodriguez appears with a pit bull she revived at a fire scene Friday. (CBS)

CHICAGO (CBS) – Chicago firefighters rescued two pet dogs from a Bucktown fire Friday afternoon and used CPR techniques to revive one of the animals, which had stopped breathing.

Firefighter and paramedic Tammy Rodriguez was beaming as she appeared with the resuscitated pooch, a female named Howdy, at a Friday evening news conference at the Engine 57 station.
Rodriguez said one of her colleagues carried the lifeless dog to her outside the fire scene, a three-flat at 1833 N. Wood Ave. She started working on the animal immediately.
“(The dog) was completely out,” Rodriguez said as the now-energetic dog perched over her shoulder. “And we just started putting the mask (on) and giving it straight oxygen. I started performing CPR, and for awhile there it wasn’t reacting, but I think just the positive pressure of oxygen made it start breathing, which was exciting.”
“All of a sudden she started opening her eyes and we’re like ‘Oh, my God’ … and then she got up,” she added.
A second dog, a puppy, was rescued from the fire and received treatment, Rodrigquez said.

Jorden Grennan, the owner of the two dogs, said the younger pet, a male named Hossa, was spending the night at a veterinarian’s.

No people were injured in the blaze, which began around 3 p.m., but the occupants were displaced. A cause was under investigation.

Rodriguez said she owns three dogs herself and considers them a part of the family. She was just doing her job Friday in bringing Howdy back.

“It was a great feeling,” she said.

I need a pick me up.....badly. I can't do Starbucks as that was one of the things I gave up for Lent. :)
I'm looking forward to the summer as I mention before it's busy with shows nonstop here in Indiana and of course my own thingy with competitions as well as other things like finally taking that motorcycle class I always wanted to take. For me when I go to the Islands I always wanted to go riding around some of these cities like St. Thomas, etc. In a week I will be surprising my friend on the Fantasy as the last time I saw her was in October. The next time I will see her again will be more easy for me as she will be on the Destiny out of Miami and I can just hop, skip and jump down there from Orlando when I visit my family(which hopefully will be with me). She likes crazy outfits and hats, and yes she is European which explains it. LOL I'm kidding. I care a lot about this women as she such a huge heart and means well. Not to mention she does have a quick witt too and has always treated me like I was one of her own children. I've got some great memories with her that I wish I could relive some of them again as they were apart of the best moments in my life. Here is were I insert a big *smile followed by a little *sigh ha ha. You know I thought about going to a costume shop and disguising myself with a wig, some prosthetics, and a pretty good accent. Of course I would have to hide my physique which is difficult. Maybe I can stuff some charmin in my brassiere (bra) and some other places and look like a funky person. I think I may be able to pull it off as she is fun to play pranks on :). Hopefully I can pull it off, the bad thing is I think we only have one costume shop in Terre Haute so I'm limited but I think I can get something good and "crossing fingers" fairly priced. She hates surprises, oh well she's just going to have to deal with it. I am sure she will know I am coming as she sees the guest list and I kinda already told her I was coming...But it doesn't mean she will recognize me. Some of you may think I am mean but I like to have fun and there's nothing wrong with that. If you don't like it ...take a hike LOL.

Recently I had a friend play a joke on me. You know I have talked about the Camaro SS, so they took the time and effort in helping me find one and here it is ...LOL How sweet was that LOL and its silver too. I like the Camaro in silver, black, lime green, and the Colts blue. I found it to be pretty funny and it would work if I was microscopic size but I'm not unfortunately I'm XXXL size.

Well I was sitting on the couch and Leo (Bengal) starts grooming Pookie. I kinda knew were this was going but just let it continue as I was hoping Leo would surprise me. He kept grooming and Pookie was sleeping and then finally . Now this is not Pookie saying cheese and smiling for the camera but its her reaction to Leo biting her neck. For a good minute he had a very good grip on her neck and would not let goMaybe he was hungry and wanted a light snack. He is a sweet but plays dirty and I consider him a real stinker as he thinks he owns everything. He won't leave my site as he always follows me everywhere I go and watches me or even joins me in the shower..what a pervert LOL. After the whole bitting attack he passed out next to me on the couchLike nothing ever happened. Boys will be boys....

Would you pay 92 cents for one hard boiled egg? After my workout this morning I went to the store and staring me down were these hard boiled eggs. I looked at the price and thought how many people would actually buy open or two or even three. Use the change and buy a dozen pack of eggs for the same price and get of the lazy wagon and boil your eggs yourself. It's truly not that complicated. The same goes for chicken. I'd rather buy my chicken slice it up and grill it myself then pay a hefty price for 1 breast which most of the time in restaurants it's a tiny breast which looks more like 3 oz which is small for my appetite.

I had a good workout this morning and plan to go back this afternoon for round 12 lol.
It's nice when you feel super duper ready to conquer anything mother gym throws at you. I was exhausted as I wore myself by doing legs....the worst day ever. I can't feel my legs. Lol

I know I've not updated the blog as much as I usually do, and of course I got a few emails about it. Imagine that lol. I can't even imagine my voicemail as I've even turned off my phone. My friends probably think the worst has happened to me like getting abducted by aliens or being stranded on some tropical island. :). I do have quite a good amount of readers which is a plus. Hey...I'm here and I'm doing very good. Don't worry your head off as I'm okay. I think about this funny video I saw on AMV (America's Funniest Videos) where the kid was on a ride and all he kept on saying was "I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay". LOL....

I'm doing pilates again as it was something I did alot back home. Pilates really helps strengthening my core and helps my physique shape up. I need to get more yoga in. Shame on me..

I need a big adrenaline rush about now like sky diving. Cedar piont would be nice and in June, I'm flying up my grandmother, mom and sister and it will be my Grandmothers B-day. I'm sure the last thing she wants to do is go riding on roller coasters. Its bad enough she screams when I drive and holds on the the "oh sh** handle in the car. Its funny. At least they will see me perform on stage. I just hope my grandmother doesn't embarrass me by saying something crazy in the audience..LOL. Shes quite a funny sarcastic lady. I get a lot of my humor from her. Everyone loves her, but she has her grandma moments. Shes a old fashioned New York Puerto Rican and they don't play around. :) To be honest I'd rather take my family on a cruise. In the summer my friend will be on the Carnival Destiny which is out of Miami. I think I will drive them all down and I can fianlly get them on the ship. :) Time will tell. They will have a blast.

Relaxing

It's that time again where we all need to take a moment and unwind and relax. I'm at that piont as its called vacation lol. I have a very busy next 3 months ahead of me with prepping for shows, training for school, and taking on new adventures such as becoming a grill master. There is one thing I really would like to do and that is coach soccer. That's a nice little dream of mine. :) maybe actually a big one. For the first time ever I got asked "Are you a tennis player?" That must be a bad sign lol. I was wearing sprayed on jeans(lol) and a Aero shirt. I really don't think I stood out, but I guess I did to the piont to where I looked liek a tennis player. ha ha. I had a great time last night hanging out and haivng some aweeeesome laughs. I am a real funny person and that in my opinion is what life is about having fun and making the best of it. I am the life of the party. I love talking to people and joking around. I have my 70 year old moments too but thats only when ...nevermind :). Let's see I also got asked yesterday if I am Brazilian. ummm No. But I take that as a compliment as brazilians are very pretty.

So I have decided to go back to my old school methods of training and getting things done like I did back in the day of my first years of bodybuilding. Consider me the female phantom of bodybuilding. LOL I recently shut my phone off literally avoiding calls and texting as its distracting and I don't need it. I recall in my early weightlifting that I didn't really use my phone at all. I left it at home and off. This is going to be hard for me as my phone is my life support when it works. I have the worst luck in the world with phones. I'm serious. All jokes aside. Earlier this week my phone kept on dropping calls along with other things and thats when I said enough lol. I don't need it anyway ha ha. So since, I have been focusing more on my training as the weightlifter/bodybuilder, and doing things the old school training way. I hope none of my friends take offense to me turning off my phone but I'm sure they will as some don't understand the intensity of muscle buidling/cutting. Consider it like prepping for that really hard exam that your life depends on. LOL. My training methods can be insane and extreme for the weak. I don't like it myself as I'm the one lifting and training. There are moments when I just want to crawl back into the corner of the gym and die from the muscle fatigue and pain. The show must go on no matter how much it hurts mentally and physicaly. Then there is the mirror game. Some mirrors will fool you. You may look great under certain lights and mirror but when you go to another one "what happened?" lol. I have had this happen all the time. I personally like posing in natural light. A friend of mine taught me that this is the better way to take progress pics and see the change. They were right and I recommend that to anyone. I knwo I'm boring you ....boo hiss

Congrats to the competitors who competed at the Southern Indiana this weekend promoted by Eric Schmidt, his fiance' and Nitro Fitness. We had some good competition in the men's open and in the figure class. The show its self was not as big as last years but that didn't put a dent in the quality of the competition. I got a chance to sneak in a workout Saturday afternoon with some friends who killed me on chest showing me a unique style of training. My chest is still screaming bloody murder lol. Its always a treat judging the shows and meeting new people. I especialy love chatting with the competitors and hearing their story as we all have a story of how we got there and how we got into it. Yes dieting can be hard. Yes training and cardio can be a bit too much for the average person to handle and Yes you do have to have to be strong mentally and physically to compete. But there's nothing like the feeling you get when you walk on stage in front of all those people showing off the body you worked so hard for during the last 12 weeks or so. "Here I am World". Then afterwards every competitors wondering were the restaurants are so they can indulge in something taboo in the bodybuilding world like a cheesecake. LOL.

All in all I always have the lovely pleasure of meeting new people, making new friends and seeing my judging friends. I enjoyed myself and then some walking away with some comical moments I won't forget LOL...My real treat of the weekend was the Camaro SS I drove. Yes I have been talking mustangs a while back and now with the new Mustang BOSS out. A sweet ride and boy she looks fierce you can't beat it but its not a Shelby GT500. I do love the Camaro SS especially for the fact the technology is very advanced and the car is luxurious packed with some good power in under a few seconds. Yes "I drove it like I stole it". Just to let you know a little bit about me I like fast muscle cars and I especially love the exhaust roar. I went a lot back in the day to hot rod and muscle car shows. Very fun. Anyway, I won't tell you the speed I got the Camaro up to as well you know :) but I will say was 10 mph more than when I drove a Challenger RT a while back ago. Basically it was pretty fast and the amount of seconds it took to get to that blew my mind. I have been looking around at the SS but a friend a few days ago turned my attention to the new 2012 Z28. This is going to be a fun summer. Lots of bodybuilding contests coming up. I would really like to take part of the famous Alcatraz Swim meet in September but its a few weeks before the Olympia. It wouldn't work out in my favor. I'm sure there may be another swim meet I can do. I would need to take a lot of cold showers and lots of open water training as the water over there is a lot for my little body to handle. Imagine jumping into 57 degree water. It puts a big shock in your body. Time will only tell. I'm a athlete and well I love to try new sports. :)

In the tech world I think I am going to go back to Razzberry or as you all know it as Blackberry.

I want to say congratulations to Aaron Berry as he met the mayor yesterday and was honored a very prestigous award. Congratulations Aaron, I'm very proud of you.

Way to Go Butller..Heading to the Final Four. I just love Bulldogs

Iron Pit is the Shizznet. So I was training yesterday and got to see John Mellancamps son being trainied by one of the trainers in the gym. Not to mention John's super model ex wife trains as well as the president of IU. Pretty nice if you ask me, and they know where the best gym is and its here. Seriously people this is the gym of gyms. IYou absolutly need to check it out for yourself. IT DOES NOT GET NY BETTER THAN THIS. This gym has been around a long time and instead of 24 hours its 25 hours lol. Just look at the sign if you don't believe me. It was another wonderful day in the gym yesterday and I will talk about yesterdays workout later. For now its time to brag. You know I just have to give compliemnts and kuddos. LOL. So here is Mr. Indiana form the Indiana State show back in the day. Very impressive tiny waist and an 8 pack lol. He reminds me of a buff Ken doll :) or better yet He-Man. I'm sure I may get killed for saying that but its my blog and I speak my mind ha ha. Regaurdless he looks freaking awesome. This shot was taken after his last Indiana State competition where he was 215 pds. Matt was telling me how in this picture he was remembers specifically thinking "bring on the food" LOL

Amen to that as I know many of us make a stright bee-line to the nearest restaurant after the show lol.

Don't ask me when I took this as I can't remember lol. I'm serious. It brings back great memories and it pumps me up for the summer :) woohoo. I got some more pictures to share :), but will do that here in a sec. I started my morning by watching the black and white movie "the three musketeers", I've never seen it till now. I like it :) and yes I'm cheesy like that. Big weekend ahead of me. Between my physical assement and then our new show this weekend its jam packed. Its possible the assement may go longer than expectant too so that may be a factor. This training for me has only been the tip of the iceberg with training. Your not going to learn everything in school as its more learning on the field. My EMT training has just begun, and then the Medic training in the Fall..that is tough. Your looking at another year of training. You always here the controversy over paramedics and nurses lol. I rode in the ambulance yesterday for my clinical which started at 8am and I stayed till 7 pm as we had patient that had to be transported to Wishard Memorial in Indianapolis as it was a MVA. It was lights and siren from Bloomington to Indy. I am amazed at how many people try to out run the ambulance or pay them no mind on the roads. I can't even imagine how I would be driving the ambulance going down the roads with these drivers. One of the cool features on the new ambulances is the privacy window. Its a screen that pops up over your windows in the back so it blocks people from seeing in. It was another long day, but I loved every part of it. Bloomington is the first in the nation to have blue fire trucks. Powder blue I think is the color

Do you think the Holiday Razzle is me. There was a glitter magazine from the 80s i saw in the gym while I was doing cardio. Pretty cool :) as you know I LOVE the 80s.

Its funny in class or around restaurants how people talk and say or assume things. I should start my own type of national enquier. Think of it like grandma with her loud and clear "as seen on tv device"(used to hear other peoples conversations) Check out the commercial.

Well its a busy day tomorrow as I mentioned above and we have our newest show in South Bend. I'm very curious to see how that goes. We have Indiana state reps coming in for the testing on the physical assessments. The hardest out of the 7 test is trauma and medical. *whew then after that we are free lol but there's a chance it could go longer as I mentioned earlier. That could change my plans. As far as the show I am pulling for Jorge as I said in a previous blog he reminds me of someone I know with a great set of genetics and a beautiful body at such a young age. Lucky guys. Seriously not a lot of young people can pull that off but it takes so much doscipline and dedication on top of that. I know Jorge will kick ass. Can't wait for that. Best of luck to everyone

I tried to take a shot for yah'll before I head over to my clinical. I was surprised by the complimnts I got today. very nice. One that stood out was how I looked the part and looked professional. I like that. :) I actually had the option of taking the clinical tomorrow so I could have time for study group tonight but I chose option b and just wanted to get it out of the way. 24 hour Iron Pit Gym Bloomington, Indiana for the Serious and Fit Minded Gym Rat

I remember searching the Internet for a gym in Bloomington, IN. I was looking for a Anytime Fitness or something that would get me by while I was in town. So I saw a website for a gym that was 24 hours. I was curious and clicked on it. Wow..I was blown away. It was a hardcore or serious trainers heaven. I couldn't believe it. here in Indiana was this gym that I have never heard of since I have been here for the last 3 years.

I have trained at a lot of gym all over the country and this by far is one of the best. I would HIGHLY recommend any bodybuilder, power lifter or fitness minded person to train here. I even begin to tell you how thrilled I was this morning walkign through the door. I want to try every piece of equipment in there. As soon as I walked in my muscles swelled up immediately from the energy of the gym. Super super great atmosphere. That makes a HUGE difference in a gym. There's not too many gym likes this anymore around the country. I finally met Matt a few days ago and I was blown away. He is one of the coolest people you'd ever meet and very very dedicated to fitness and health.Here is one of his many pictures. Which You must check out their huge array of photos, clippings, memorabilia, trophies, etc. They even have thier own band :)Matt is a big Bodybuilder fan and a bodybuilder himself on top of that as you can see. I haven't met Doug yet but I will. He is a huge powerlifter and has competed in the Highland games(wheres the kilt). I saw his little set up with the squats, Deadlifting, and benching. Very nice. I wish I would have met them a long time ago as I would have loved to see my full potential with my strength. Who knows I'm actually itching to ask Doug and Matt to train me to see my potential. I am strong when I want to be but I am safe now a days *wink and do go nutty with weights. I can be a crazy nut when it comes to intense training. *whew* lookout...Well I know some of you in particular who would really appreciate this gym and would love it especially if your a fan of powerlifting and classic and modern bodybuilding. Not to mention the old school training :) You absolutley need to check out this gym. Its FABULOUS!!! I am in heaven. I had the best workout today and the focus and fire was so intense. I raving about it as it makes me so excited. This is a great place to train for me getting ready for a show. The people make a big difference as you are among friends and well they treat you like family here.
